"This cruise exceeded my expectations. Spacious cabins, wonderful sundeck, excellent food, smooth cruising, small capacity relative to other boats and service oriented staff made for a very enjoyable time. At first I was going to book my own guides, but opted instead to book the cruise's siteseeing package. Glad I did, Hamad our guide was outstanding and there can be delays in the cruise do to timing in the river locks which could make coordination with outside guides difficult and stressful. ...

Its exhausting & demoralizing, trying to keep a good mood & enjoy your trip while all Egyptians see "all tourists" as "marks". "We only stayed here 3 nights. Absolutely amazing location and the rooftop is what its all about. The staff must see thousands of tourists come and go and it shows unfortunately. The room was tiny and a tiny wet room to shower. But for a few nights was fine and doable We went to the hotel next doors rooftop for alcoholic beverages. Was always empty so was good to escape the crowds of Nefertitis rooftop. Nefertitis was a fantastic slice of Egypt. We highly recommend Al Hajeej tours "

Definitely different from the run of the mill Western style hotels, only minutes away from the Nile..Way more peaceful than the east bank situated in a very friendly village. The management and staff were amazingly helpful and kind. The restaurant was great, we never even bothered eating anywhere else. "

"The only good thing about this hotel was the location, however once we checked in, we left asap because we found a cockroach in the curtains… a flying one too. We’re not picky travelers and we like to stay at economically friendly place but would not stay at a place with roaches or bed bugs. Pay a little extra to stay across the street at Pyramisa or somewhere else. I wouldn’t recommend this place as we couldn’t even complete our stay"
