This has long been a favorite hotel of mine. It had, however been a while since I stayed there. It is still nice and I still love it, but it could stand a few touch ups, like new carpet in the elevator lobbies. Our room was very nice and large but the bathroom was tiny. The breakfast buffet which ...
The hotel and room were both very clean and updated. The location was fantastic - only a few blocks from the Art institute and close to the Monroe L train station. Staff were all polite and welcoming. Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to try out the restaurant during our visit. I can easily ...
This is the second Club Quarters hotel that I have stayed at recently, and is exactly what I wanted and needed: a simple, quiet, clean hotel with a comfortable bed and a hot shower. The room was compact, but not uncomfortably so. Just what is needed when I'm traveling for work.
Stayed here for a weekend while in town to watch the Cubs. A short (3km) walk to the red line L train, as well as a stretch of bars and restaurants along State Street. Free parking in a gated lot was a HUGE selling feature. Our room, 2 Queen beds, was spacious and clean. The only reason I didn't ...
Hotel was very nice and clean. We were a little disappointed in the beds not as comfortable as we would like, Other than that the hotel was great
We came as a family. They were very accommodating with a rollaway bed for our preschooler. Breakfast was a little intimidating though. The restaurant is geared toward adults, with real bar glasses; no plastic for sticky fingers. When I asked for a straw they handed us a cocktail straw which my four ...
We stayed here for 5 days and was located within walking of most everything in the downtown, magnificant mile, Navy Pier, etc. We picked very basic room which was very small, but in good condition. It was perfect for our basic needs.
We have stayed at this hotel many times and have never been disappointed. We arrived a day early and they were able to accomodate us at a reasonable rate. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is convenient for most activities. Quiet rooms and very clean. Would highly reccommend!
So glad I chose the Silversmith. It is a Heritage Hotel which has been lovingly restored to its former glory. The staff was excellent especially Patty on the front desk. The concierge was great also. I would highly recommend this hotel so you can see for yourself. Jean Jarvis Montreal, Quebec, ...
It was very pleasant. Nice location, nice view from my room. Breakfast at the Hotel were very good, especially the Croque Madame. My only complaint is that someone left a City Pass for me on the lobby and they did not find it when i ask for it.
Great hotel. Rooms are big and comfortable. It's not as plush and luxurious as I would have liked for the price, but the location is spectacular and the views from the windows are breathtaking. It was also convenient to have breakfast included, and the cocktail hour was a nice touch!
We've stayed once before with the same experience. I admit, cleanliness is extremely important to me. The hall outside our room looked like it isn't routinely vacuumed. Dirty corners too. The bathroom sink area was not cleaned well. The hotel staff is very nice and I don't like to complain but, I'm ...
We stayed two nights to visit with a relative who lives in an apartment nearby. Hotel was extremely convenient to everything we cared about: the river, Navy Pier, the Loop. We had a corner room, so probably larger than most, but it was really was spacious and the bed comfortable. Fixtures and equipment ...
