"Spent a night here after the 4 Day Inka trail to give ourselves the opportunity to return to MP in the afternoon for sunset and again early next morning for sunrise. The room was excellent but the food and service were impeccable. Worth every penny especially with full boarding included. We enjoyed being pampered for a day at the end of the long hike."

"This was a great stay, the highlight is definitely the river views. The breakfast was great. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and while it was good, it was slow and overpriced. The only real disappointment was that I was looking forward to using the hot tub after a day at macchu Picchu and they wanted to charge me $100 an hour. I never saw that while booking. Of course I said no, but it was a huge bummer. Great location, 5 minute walk from Train station. "

"The Rupa Rupa is up quite a steep set of stairs. Once up there the room for four was large enough, however the bathroom is a bit small for four people. The breakfast was good and staff were friendly. You can hear the birds in the morning but also the nightlife so it's not quiet most of the day.
