"I was met on arrival by Debi. She showed me around and explained certain things. The view from the condo was fabulous. Waking up everyday and seeing those turquoise waters was great. "Jean's condos is a nice apartment, with all the amenities you would need for a self-catering stay. It's well laid out and clean. The apartment is on the main road between Vieux-Fort and Souffriere and you definitely need a car to get to the places such as the beach in Laborie. "Lovely clean and spacious apartment. Fruit and water on arrival. Very helpful hosts both Juliana on site and Andrea who lives elsewhere. Juliana was very kind and caring and went out of her way to makes us feel welcome. Very homely. Beach is a good 15 minute walk down and up a hill. Would advise hiring a car due to heat and hills! Pigeon beach lovely, Reduit beach near Rodney bay lovely but lots of beach assistants very helpful but not as calm as Pigeon beach. Beautiful raw and authentic island....

"The overall experience was good for the property itself and we found the manager to be accommodating when we wanted to check in early. We also found Laborie (the local village) to be wonderful, with friendly people and an awesome local beach. Check-out was easy and super no-fuss. There were a couple of things that detracted from the stay, however. The kitchen could have been cleaner on check-in some of the plugs might not have been working, and the oven took over an hour to pre-heat to 350F....

"My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary in St Lucia, staying at Samfi Gardens, and could not have been happier or more delighted! While the drive up, (on the wrong side for us Canadians) was a tiny bit challenging, and you need to take care on the road heading into the property, the stunning view of the Pitons once there is worth it!! Add to that the fact that the staff are absolutely lovely and very kind, that there are wonderful activities to enjoy nearby, and that Samfi Gardens itself is a peaceful haven, and you have the recipe for a wonderful vacation. We were so grateful to spend time in beautiful St Lucia at Samfi Gardens, and hope to return!!"
