Wonderful Location
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We went for a game at Lucus Stadium, which was so close. Downtown is awesome and there is so much in walking distance. We will definately stay there again.

Disappointed
I was very excited to stay at this hotel. Every year I go to Indianapolis for a few Colts games. This hotel is usually so expensive I never book it. I finally got a great rate so I decided to book this hotel, I paid in full with the pre-paid web price. I was very disappointed that the room that I recieved didn’t look like any of the pictures on their website. Instead I got a room with a TV (not a flat screen) that had so much static it was annoying to watch. Also we had a mini bar in our room which was never replenished the next day. I was staying 2 days and after drinking all the water the first night, I had nothing left for the 2nd night.

Great location, friendly staff
My experience at the Omni Severin Hotel was fantastic. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the staff was very accomodating. We stayed at the hotel b/c of its proximity to the Lucas Oil Stadium but will return b/c of the wonderful staff.

Charming and Comfortable
The hotel was beautiful, the room spacious, the location convenient, and the staff was wonderful. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location, room size terrible!!!
The hotel is very nice and in an awesome location, but we were extremely disappointed in the room. The room had 1 Queen bed andin order to get to the other side you had to turn sideways to go in between the bed and TV and we are very slender people (just so you don’t think that we were obese and that caused problems). I asked the front desk if this was a deluxe room and they said "yes it was and to get more room you need to get a room with double beds".

Posted: 10-Nov-09We do apologize that the room was small. The hotel is a historic property and as such some of the rooms are smaller than those at a modern hotel. We will always do our best to accommodate a room change if occupancy allows. We do sell upgraded suites with more room that offer king beds as well. Convenient, but loud
When staying at the Omni Severin we found the staff to be excellent and the facilities very good, but we were very close to a football stadium and an outdoor arts/commons area which was very noisy. Our room was never quiet and I found that difficult to sleep in.

Close to *everything* - we walked to the theatre, dining, shopping ... it was very convenient.

Great Indianapolis Hotel
I have been to Indianapolis several times now for business. This hotel is my latest and proved to be a great hotel to park in for a couple of days. Its’ proximate to good restaurants, the downtown area with movie theatres and department stores and feels very safe. I had a good experience in the hotel restaurant and would stay at this hotel again next time I visit.

Great Place
Other than wishing they had gin rather than vodka in the minibar, this was a wonderful experience. The restaurant is great, too. Staff members were very nice and helpful overall.

not overly impressed
chose this hotel due to a friends recommendation & the cost on expedia...our room was noisy (could hear the people in the next room watching tv & talking, also air circulation/vent made a obnoxious noise all night long), had a terrible view, carpet was very stained, smelled like smoke & had requested non-smoking room...was expecting more from a 4-star hotel, especially with all the landscaping outside.

A bit disappointed
Hotel staff is great. But the condition of the hotel is disappointing. Room was small, elevators were noisy, and so were the AC. Bath tub had no water stopper. When I arrived and the room was ready, I found a used glass outside my door.

great stay!
My sister and I stopped through Indianapolis on our way to Tennessee from Minneapolis. it was our first time in town and we loved the location- we drove around a bit and saw what a beautiful city it is. the room was great, and we had room service dinner which was amazing. Overall one of the nicest hotels we’ve been in.

Shapiro’s deli, just a few blocks away has amazing food, and the room service at the hotel was delicious!

Less than I expected
The hotel is very worn down. The room that I stayed in had terrible carpet. The padding was almost worn flat and the carpet had several areas that were replaced with poor workmanship. The staff was fine and the hotel is in an ok area.

Great Indianapolis Hotel
Everything about our stay was great. The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond in helping us find fun things to do and advising us on the best way to get there. We will definitely stay here on our next trip!

Enjoyed our stay at the Omni
Staff was very nice and helpful. Stayed for 3 days and nights. The staff was very helpful and assisted us with our every need. Very clean accomodations and food is excellent. Hotel is connected to the mall from the second floor and makes shopping just minutes away from the second floor. Staying inside away from any inclimate weather. I would recommend staying at the OMNI and will stay there again when traveling to Indy.

No Complaints!
We stayed here on the 4th of July. We arrived early and were able to check-in early. Our 2 year old got a little kids pack from the front desk, which he loved! They opened the PentHouse level for everyone to watch the fireworks from downtown (but they got cancelled because of the fog). Everyone was really friendly. We really enjoyed our stay! Hotel is connected to the mall - no need to walk outside.

Downtown Indy Cozy and Convenient
The Omni is close to everything you need in downtown Indy - particularly major sports venues, wonderful restaurants and shopping. But the room was so nice it was hard to leave.

Great hotel if not paying full price
Stayed here one night on business travel. Annoying that there is mandatory rather expensive valet parking as the hotel does not own a parking structure/lot. But the valet boys and girls were very nice and courteous. The halls and carpet shows significant wear/tear and age of the hotel. The room space was ill-designed and significantly unevenly divided. The living/lounging area was too large while the bathroom was ridiculously and uncomfortably small--it is in fact smaller than my walk in closet at home! I’m an average 5’6" 150# woman and still felt very cramped in the bathroom. The bed and arm chair were incredibly comfortable. However, the air conditioning unit was obnoxiously loud and interfered with a good night’s rest inspite of how comfortable the bed was!

If you have a car and enjoy hole-in-the-wall homestyle food, drive out toward Broad Ripple to Yatz for downhome cajun. Across the street from there is a great little market called the Fresh Market where they have a great selection of wines, cheeses and snacks---I love the veggie chips they had. Who knew you can make okra into chips!!!
