it was my birthday weekend, and going to colts game. hotel was under staffed, had to wait a long time to use valet parking and to pick up car. room was very clean, but the theromstat did not work, was a warm weekend for november so room was hot. did request a view of the circle, but did not get it. had great time in the city, bars are great in walking distance. colt’s won.

Hotel had great accomendations. I loved that it had a starbucks in the lobby. I don’t understand why there has to be a charge for internet access and parking.

Best Indy Hotel

This hotel was very upscale compared to my usual hotels, but I was offered a great deal for airfare and hotel through Expedia. Lobby staff were very attentive, reception and help. Restaurant staff were very busy on my second day due to an inhouse meeting group, everyone including the banquet manager was helping out to ensure that everyone was looked after for their breakfast needs. The room was very comfortable and clean.

Will stay there again next year

The location is excellent, the staff is courteous, the price was very good, and the room was great. This was the first hotel (of six) that my fiancee and I stayed at on a two week road trip. It wasn’t the fanciest or most expensive, but it was probably our favorite of them all. We had a King Suite, which was two surprisingly large adjoining rooms. It was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. It was a pleasant surprise to find that the living room part of the suite had a small kitchen sink, decent size fridge (thankfully without for purchase items in it), and a microwave. It worked perfectly for preparing the cooler to go to the track each day (MotoGP weekend). The parking garage is attached to the hotel, so it couldn’t be any easier to get to the car (or bike). The hotel isn’t new, so it shows its age a little bit - in particular the bathroom and the pool - but it is very clean so no complaints.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

The pool is on the ninth floor. There’s a nice sundeck out there as well, and it overlooks monument circle. It’s a nice place to relax before going out for dinner, etc. (which is all easily within walking distance).

Good downtown location

I was attracted to this hotel for an August stay as it had a rooftop pool which was a nice bonus. The parking was a crap shoot every day. The hotel is old (slow elevators, thin thin walls), but well maintained. I usually book hotels through the "rewards" programs and not having done so this time made a HUGE difference - from checking in early (the guy checking me in was very snooty about it), to wanting to change my room away from the elevators (that kept me awake every night). Staff didn’t even look to see if it was possibly before saying flat out no.

indpls is a city that has grown up,it did not allways look so great. it has come into it own nich finally.

Comfortable & Great Location

Some areas show signs of wear but our room was clean and comfortable with a great bed, newer carpeting and a view of the downtown monument. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Only complaint is that the plumbing is loud when someone upstairs or next door uses the shower or toilet.

Good food is hard to find in Indy but enjoyed Claddagh Irish Pub at 234 S. Meridian and within walking distace from hotel.

Very comfortable and convenient

This hotel is convenient to most downtown locations. It’s even within walking distance of the convention center. Don’t be surprised when you see the exercise room though. It isn’t worth visiting unless you just want the eliptical walker or treadmill. I loved to pool on the roof!

Very Nice

The staff was very pleasant and asked if we needed directions any time we left the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. They only negative is that you have to pay for internet.

If you like beer try Alcatraz, Ram, and Rock Bottom microbreweries. They are all in walking distance and have great food.

Great Location

The Sheraton hotel in Indianapolis was a great place to stay for a leisure trip. It’s centrally located downtown with easy access to all the area attractions. I would definitely go back.

Well satisfied

We were there on New Years Eve, the room was fine we had an ajoining room with friends, we enjoyed ourselves. We had drinks in the bar that night and breakfast there in the morning, we were all well satisfied. Definetly would go back. Good location.

Location, Locatio, Location

An old standard without the highest cost in town. Nearly everything is within a 15 minute walk for those who like to walk among history at Christmastime.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Go ahead and park in the parking garage before registration and take ticket to check-in. It will save time if you are not in need of valet service. However, Valet parking and assistance is well worth the cost.

Completely Impressed!

We decided to head out of town to check out a place we had never been that wasn’t too far from home (Michigan) and we were fortunate enough to get in on an Expedia deal that allowed us to stay in the downtown area. We couldnt’ believe it when we called to ask for early check-in & got no hassle whatsoever, the staff was very friendly & helpful! The room was a corner room up high with a gorgeous view of the circle and the Indianapolis area. Since we’re usually tight on money we don’t have the opportunity to stay at places like this very often so we felt very special at the Sheraton and have told everyone we know about this place. We will most definitely go back again & again!!! Thanks to the phenomenal staff for your warm welcome!

If you like beer, go to Alcatraz. The bartenders were awesome and showed us a good time! Try out Ram if you like beer, but don’t expect great service. If you like sushi, go to Mikado! OUTSTANDING!!!! And this is the opinion of someone who lived near the ocean for years & has experienced great sushi. Go to the zoo & pet sharks! I don’t care how old you are, that’s a good time!!

Very comfortable

The rooms are neat and so comfortable. The beds are the best. Love the Starbucks downstairs, too.

Excellent stay in INDY!

We really enjoyed the hospitality that the hotel provided during our stay for Circle City. The location was phenomenal. We even were treated with complimentary lite breakfast. I will definitely stay there next year.
