Hampton Inn Philadelphia/King of Prussia

This was my second stay at this hotel, and I plan to return again next year.

The hotel is conveniently located close enough to the Devon Horse Show grounds and even closer to shopping and amenities. It provides a comfortable, clean place to spend our down time.

Best value for King of Prussia

The Hotel was difficult to find when you got off Interestate and toll roads. It was not accessible by car across the street and you had to travel a 1/4 mile then turn back around to get to the hotel. Overall with breakfast a great buy for Philadelphia. Great rooms and service. Would stay again.

Another excellent Hampton Inn

The King of Prussia Hampton Inn offers very good and clean accommodations, has a very helpful and courteous staff, and provides good quality services for the money spent. The copious complimentary breakfast is a nice addition to an overall very pleasant experience. Only drawback : as the roads in that area are somewhat confusing, it is not easy to find, even with the help of maps and directions. Maybe some effort should be made by the hotel management to improve the directions provided on the web and other advertisement.

Located very close to the King of Prussia Convention Center, and only a few miles from the Barnes Foundation.

Convenient to PA Turnpike, well maintained, clean, very comfortable. Friendly staff. I normally have a difficult time sleeping in hotels, but I did not have a problem, beds are very comfortable, "snuggle" pillow included. I did not use the television so cannot comment on that. Also, entrances to hotel are locked up after a certain hour and you can only get in with your key card or by buzzing the front desk.

wish we could have stayed another night

We booked this room to stay after concert at Tower Theatre in Upper Darby, so we could do some shopping at the King of Prussia Mall the next day. I had to call hotel, to make sure I was on the correct road & they were very pleasant & helpful. Hotel is very easy to find. Late checkin was no problem. Girl at front desk was efficient & friendly. Room was very nice, well appointed, clean, & the bed was so comfortable, with very clean & comfortable bedding! I saw that they sell the duvets & covers & I was very tempted! Late check out (12noon) was great since we got in late. Shower had good shower head & plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good too, was nice to be able to eat before getting ready to go out. Only problem we had was not getting to stay another night!

Great place to stay when visiting Philadelphia

My fellow traveler wanted to shop, I wanted to see Philadelphia. But we wanted the most for our dollar and that is what you get with the hotel. And unlike other hotels I’ve stayed at the high speed internet is actually high speed. Nothing but positives in this hotel. Not the best hotel I’ve stayed at but a great one.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

If you want to see the liberty bell and other revolutionary sites park at the self parking a few blocks away and walk around, you will see things you would miss on a bus tour.

great location, centrally located near mall, restaurants and Valley Forge

Good representation of Hampton Inn quality. Good rate and within blocks of King of Prussia Mall shopping and dining complex. Within 1 mile or so of Valley Forge National Park and conference center. One small annoyance - can only enter hotel from south bound lanes. Returning from most destinations requires passing hotel on the divided highway to u-turn to the left at the next traffic light in order to enter the property. Surprisingly quiet for a congested area.

Please Work on the Elevators

Everything was nice - clean, well equipped, etc. except the elevators need immediate repair. One of them shook as if it were falling apart. Scary ride up and down.

Great place, espcially for the money!

Hotels in this price range are sometimes hit-or-miss, but this Hampton Inn was fabulous. The breakfast was good and plentiful, the fitness room was more than adequate, and the room was clean and well-appointed.

Great place to stay

Very clean, comfortable room. Fitness center was pretty decent for a hotel facility (2 treadmills, cycle, resistance/strength universal equipment, sauna). Free breakfast was really nice (yogurt, cereal, donuts, muffins, eggs, fruit, juice, coffee). Very close to King of Prussia mall. Easy access to interstate. Would definitely stay there again.
