“This property was old which wasn't a problem it was quaint but the fern room was comically small, felt like the top half of a barn, like the whole building was probably a barn. The room had ladybugs & flys, the ladybugs didn't bother me but the flys were making horrible buzzing sounds & we couldn't sleep so we had to kill the flys but left the ladybugs alone. Other flys never came back so that was good, perhaps someone left a door open. You could easily hear the rooms nearby like a simple radio……

“They were very welcoming and helpful, provided lots of advice for exploring the nearby village, and even allowed us a late checkout to spend the day skiing before our evening flight. Would absolutely stay here again.”

“I liked the ski lodge/honey feel. The hallway and room was probably 80 degrees all night even though it wasn’t really that cold outside. There was no way to regulate temperatures in each room. Had to sleep with the door open to the back patio area. Also the toilet was jammed or something so that didn’t flush, had to lift toilet lid off snd pull stopper manually to flush. It was cheap.”

“We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was very clean and had all the comforts of home. The gas-fired fireplace kept us warm and cozy. The location is beautiful with tall trees and mountains all around. It's also close to many fun things to see and do. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful.We will definitely return!”

“整體來說是個舒適的小旅社，雖然有附免費早餐，但相當簡單，所以住宿的第三天早上我們還是決定去外面的早餐餐廳吃早餐。我們住的房型是 Anton Suite，所以空間相當大，有另外的客廳跟小廚房。但是缺點是廚房附的餐具跟咖啡機等等 說實在的相當老舊及看起來不太乾淨，所以連他們的馬克杯我都不敢拿來喝水。睡房跟床的話整潔度ok，雖然床跟枕頭也是睡起來不太舒服。 旅社離Stowe downtown很近 大約走路10-15分鐘就到了，所以出去吃飯也相當方便。往downtown的反方向走約10-15分鐘 可以到達每個禮拜天 10am -3pm的 Stowe Farmers Market，可以買到 Stowe當地的農作物、特色點心、跟楓糖漿。整體來說，雖然是個簡單跟設備清潔度有待加強的旅社，這是個地點跟住宿價格來說相當不錯的旅社。”

“It is a beautiful old house with original wood floors. The room was well-appointed and the hostess was warm and informative about the area with lots of suggestions for every activity we asked her about.”

“Bud was very hospitable and overall great! Externally, very aesthetic and inviting. The interior can definitely use some TLC, but it really also depends on your expectations. It’s a country house so don’t expect anything lavish or over the top. Another reviewer wrote that it’s like staying at grandma’s. Couldn’t agree more. If you like trendy and fancy, this is not the place. If you like rustic, quiet and low key- this will do the job. We enjoyed our stay. ”

“Excellent breakfast! Sitting room available for guests was comfy with coffee/tea and delicious homemade cake. All very clean. Our room was small with little area for luggage. Hot/Cold water was reversed, but without my glasses on in the bathroom I couldn't read the script cap on the faucet. We ran the water for quite a while before we figured it out. Randy very knowledgeable about the area and a wealth of information on Stowe and environs. Would definitely stay here again.”
