"this was the best location for seeing Barranco sites on foot and a short taxi to Miraflores. Loved the area and the apt was the nicest place I stayed my entire trip. I would definitely recommend especially if you would like to make some of your own food as it has a full kitchen."

"Martin was a wonderful host. He arranged for a taxi to and from the airport for me and was awake and responding to messages when I arrived at 1am. The hotel itself is nothing fancy but very clean and comfortable. Martin had tea and cake for me when I arrived and cooked me breakfast in the morning. I felt very safe staying with Martin as a solo female traveler! "

"Decent hotel, very friendly staff. Not alot within walking distance except 1 nice restaurant. Only complaint was bed was as firm as i have ever experienced. I ached like i had slept on the floor. Oversized firm pillows disnt help. Asked and recieved extra pillows that werent so firm which helped, but it wasnt good sleeping for either of us. I feel bad saying as the staff was so great"

She accompanied me to the doctor and ensured we get proper care. She also provided good breakfast. Very safe and friendly place. "We were booked into this hotel by Orbitz as part of a flight reservation, a hotel for a few hour stop prior to a 3:40 AM flight out of Lima Peru. The hotel had no record of our Orbitz reservation, and so would have charged us their full rate, rather than the highly discounted rate promised by Orbitz as part of the flight package. "A very good place to stay --- if you don't mind loud traffic noise especially if your room is right next to the street. It's loud much of the time especially from the big buses. But the hotel can't do anything about that. But if you're a heavy sleeper you won't notice it. The staff was helpful and courteous."

"The buffet is extremely low quality food and served in unsanitary conditions. I ate in there one time only. I go and get some hard boiled eggs and cheese and take it to my room. I am surprised that the hotel managers choose such a dismal level unsanitary buffet setup. "

"Cheap ($19) and close to the airport! The owner is very friendly and helpful! She cooked up a great breakfast of eggs, rolls, and coffee/tea. The neighborhood is older and rundown. However, the residents are just normal people---women sweeping the sidewalk in the morning, children walking to school, lady selling food at a stand, taxi driver polishing his car, etc. I felt it was a good introduction to the Peruvian culture and am happy we stayed there!"
