“We stayed here as a family of 4 in March with two teenage boys, in the family room. It had a frosted glass door entrance, and then beyond that was two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. One bedroom had two twin beds and a TV, the other had a queen bed and no TV. Bathroom had a standup shower. Water was plenty hot but the pressure is very low. Heads up you cannot put toilet paper in the toilet here, has to go in the garbage can. Breakfast was in the dining area down the hall. You have two options of……

“This is a magical stay and we can’t say enough about how much we loved being at the Monkey Tree house. We walked down to the river and went for a swim, saw howler monkeys, strawberry poison dart frogs, and had a relaxing afternoon. Alondra and the team served us amazing breakfasts in the morning and took time to chat. Rae gave us good advice on what to do with one of our kids being sick. We took her advice and got some medicine from the pharmacy. We had a pizza delivery right to our treehouse.……

“A nice location by the beach. The rooms are behind a restaurant, keeping it quieter. The accommodations are older with rooms that show some wear, but that’s a minor cosmetic concern. it’s a fine place to stay!”

Me quedé con mi esposa y mis dos hijos de 9 y 7 años, ellos super contentos en dormir en litera, y nosotros de nuestra cama de buen tamaño. También nos ayudaron con buenas recomendaciones de actividades para los días que estuvimos ahí, teníamos ya algunas ideas, y ellos nos ayudaron a aclarar el panorama y hacer las reservaciones, todas un éxito rotundo :-p. “The domes were a total once-in-a-lifetime kind of stay! Ours was impeccably decorated, with all kinds of nice amenities and a beautiful view. We saw a family of coatamundi right outside! Jose also connected us with some local tours and was very responsive. To know: the road is unmarked and the water is solar-heated, so you'll want to time your showers (or outdoor bath!) for maximum heat.
