"Very cute boutique hotel! Great location, centrally located for walking. Cant wait to come when it’s hotter. VTA transit bus stop Right out front which was great and the rides are free. Hotel provided free coffee, tea, and water. No elevator so prepare to get your exercise. Lovely porch with lots of seats to sit on and read."

"The Bayside Resort hotel serviced its purpose in that is provided a place for us to stay for one night on the Cape. Calling it a resort is definitely a stretch but we also went off season, so it may be a different vibe during the summer. The rooms could definitely use an update. The pros: Friendly staff Soft bedding Huge fire pit with lots of seating Pool hot tub were well maintained The cons: Room had a musty smell Sticky old rug in room (may have contributed to smell) The river view room that we upgraded to was basically looks out at parking lot (river is off in distance) Our reservation was supposed to come with two drinks as part of booking with Expedia but no one knew what that meant."

"Staff was very nice and this hotel is in the perfect location but the rooms were not very clean and not well maintained. Room had broken furniture, shower handle was broken and sharp, hair was in the broken tub drain, nothing extremely terrible but definitely off putting. Would try to stay here again with the hopes it’s cleaner and better maintained in the future"

"The room was comfortable and the parking was great. However, if a property advises that it has a pool, then the pool must be available at least some of the time. Because the property also acted as a health club for locals, the pool was never available for us. The pool has a limit of 4 people at one time, which is utterly ridiculous and not in line with pools at other hotels we stayed at locally. Also, there was no signage about this, and we weren't told about this verbally, so we only found out when health club users (extremely rudely) stopped us from entering the pool. When we discussed this with the hotel manager he took the side of the health club users and ignored their complete arrogance and unfriendliness. Clearly the hotel is more interested in money from locals than from hotel guests. The hotel manager's approach to this completely upset my wife. He came down to the poolside and ordered my wife out of the lane that she was using (which had one other person in) and then told us that she was not to use the pool again for the duration of our stay. From that point on, no-one on reception spoke to us, and when we checked out we weren't even thanked for staying there. We've stayed before at this property and especially booked a return to the area because of it. Our holiday was completely ruined by the attitude of some of the locals and the hotel management. We'll never come this way again."

"Nice location, close to town, shopping, hospital for appointments. Etc. Staff are friendly and helpful. Stayed in one of the jacuzzi. King bed rooms. It was really relaxing and nice, it had been renovated in the fall of 2025. Plus had 1st floor door to the pool area which was nice to get some fresh air and sun. I didn't have time to eat the breakfast this morning, I was in a rush. Sorry."
