Please be aware that they charge extra 50 euros if you arrive any early than 2 p.m. (they do not make the room available to you as other hotels would do). Rooms are extremely simple. There is a bed, a tv, air conditioner, no fridge/frigobar, the shower is a small stall inside of the bedroom, the washroom has a separate stall near the door and can be quite small for some people. There was mold inside of my room’s shower area. No iron/iron table available on the room, and the amenities are simple, shampoo and soap for hands and body. Breakfast is good, couple of choices of bread, fruits, cereals, juices, coffee machines and etc. Personally, I think the breakfast is a good deal as there is no other places to eat nearby. The Amsterdam airport is huge and out of the city, the bus for the city centre takes around 40 minutes to be near Amsterdam central/jordaan. If you want to choose the train to Amsterdam zuid/centraal station, you have to travel to the airport through the hotel’s free shuttle and take the train downstairs. This hotel only works if your need is a quick rest before/after your flight. It’s not a great option if what you need is to enjoy the city and tour around.

First member of staff who checked us in was pretty bad to be honest. They came across as if they really didn’t want to be there. I compared their attitude to the other staff and it was miles apart. Other staff where lovely and very good. Never found the swimming pool or spa area which was a shame as I wanted to use it
