Man muss aber beachten, dass es kein Hotelzimmer ist, sondern ein Zelt. Es war ein schönes Abenteuer und wir konnten viel Energie tanken. "Very beautiful historic property with great views & location. On negative side -large airy village units only have warmish water not hot - village units outdoor showers had waist high weeds - supper menus are 5 course set menus that are repeated & are expensive for quality - restaurant staff lacking management & training - receptionists could do hostessing/oversight at meal times & spot checks on housekeeping/condition of units and gardens to support and train staff but do not - lack of comfy...

"Wir waren leider sehr enttäuscht von der Lodge. Die Anfahrt ist mit einem normalen PKW eigentlich unzumutbar und bei vorherigem Regen nicht machbar! Der Gemeinschaftsbereich ist sehr schön, aber das war’s dann auch schon! Die Unterkünfte sind deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und bedürfen einer Modernisierung. Das Personal ist bemüht, aber nicht sehr geschult und wirkt teilweise unbeholfen. Das Abendessen (in Buffetform !) war wohlwollend betrachtet bestenfalls durchschnittlich, das Frühstück...

"This place is magical!! The main house was built in 1823 and some of the furniture is from the same era with amazing carvings. The tent we stayed in is spacious with everything you need. Comfortable bed and most amazing are the animals hanging outside your room. The staff makes you feel like royalty. Couldn't have asked for a better experience."
