"Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Kamari. Kid friendly, with kind and helpful staff. Breakfast in the mornings was delicious, with so many options to choose from. Super close to the airport too, me and my daughter loved watching the planes go by!
Only downside was the pools were very cold, especially at the end of September, however this couldn’t be helped, but be mindful if you’re looking for something suitable for younger kids/babies as my 1.5 year old was shivering. "

"This was our second visit to Desiterra, the site is excellent just as they were last year, staff are fantastic and the spa was bloody lovely! We had a couples massage and it was well worth it.
Superb service from everyone and bloody lovely part of the island because it’s quiet and you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise!
The man who runs the restaurant and bar Sandesh is bloody excellent. Breakfast has a great selection on the menu for everyone. Lunch and dinner options are also great, but we explored a lot more of the island this time round so ate out most days.
Room was clean, tidy, and well kitted out. 100% recommend and we will probably go back again! "

"What a lovely gem this was! Yes… it really is a cave that you would walk right past if you didn’t know! It was even better than the beautiful pictures! From the outdoor indoor pool with views from the master to the fact it was originally a wine cellar made our stay downright magical! Great location too."

"No restaurants within walking distance but The hotel offered a free shuttle both ways to the capital town of Fira (2miles away) where there were plenty of eateries. The concierge booked us 2 incredible excursions - the first was a private guided tour by car around the island (5 hours). The second was a day/sunset catamaran cruise. "

"Great option, 10 minutes from town with views of sunset and sunrise. The service staff was amazing, Amin and his bar tender at night and Dora and her colleague in the morning had smiles and no request was not tended to very quickly. I really appreciated my stay and believe you will too!"
