Check in staff was excellent; room was passable, furnishings a little dated; theonly things working on the TV remote were the on/off button, volume, and channel change - no channel guide, no CC. the clean bathroom was tiny and lacked a garbage can, and the light switch was OUTSIDE the bathroom. The breakfast area was sloppy, and extremely poor - bananas, for example, were old and spotted, selection was extremely limited - after walking through it, we didn't stay to eat there.

The outside gave us pause but the rooms were exceptional. The only compliant was, initially, the room had an unpleasant smell. Once we opened the door, turned on the A/C and gave it time, the smell went away. We woul absolutely stay there again.

It’s about 2 steps above an hourly motel. Most of the occupants looked like individuals just getting by… with all their belongings in their vehicles and in front of the motel doors. I had to sign additional forms regarding deep fat fryers, cooking supplies, pets and daily inspections. The room we stayed in was just renovated and was nice and comfortable but they were out of soap so they gave us shampoo to wash our hands. They tried…and everything else was sold out in the area because of graduation from the university which is why we were in the area.

Ended up checking in and then checking right back out traveling with my 2 year old and when we got in the elevator seemed like it could break down at any moment, upon arriving in our floor there were pills on the floor went in the room and used the bathroom as I had been driving for hours and there was black in the toilet. Booked the hotel for the pool solely, but upon arrival was told it was closed for cleaning and wouldn’t be open til Monday. We could use the hot tub if we liked. Again I was traveling with my 2 year old. Called and tried to get some kind of refund and was told I was charged by the property and the property told me I was charged through Expedia so I just had to eat the money Needless to say motel not as advertised

Hotel was clean, everything in working order, staff was super friendly
