“Quiet, cozy and equipped with a spectacular view. This home has everything you need for a small family. The living space is shared which I love but might not be for everyone. Highly recommend this stay. Bring some firewood if you go during off-season and prepare to unwind!!”

“We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend! The street it is located on is a typical narrow Portugeuse street but behind a private gate is the beautiful villa on the host's property with lots of greenspace! The host is very attentive and kind. The villa was equipped with absolutely everything we needed and we appreciated the small touches like ample towels, toilet paper, fully equipped kitchen and AC. Obrigado! ”

“Manger of the hotel were helpful when was told we were denial we were SHOCKED but one day we stayed diff. hotel but went back next day. We were disappoints that we tried to canceled house rental they refused cost me 500$ for not using this house . we did tried to cancelled almost a week.Others were helpful and respected each other. “Joao's house is beautiful, with room for 8 people. If you like gardens, you will love this place. The garden is absolutely lovely, with a beautiful view of the coast from one spot. Hot tub, BBQ, all great. Nice location walking distance from 2 good restaurants. Very warm and friendly host.”

“Cozy home with wood stove at the north-east side of Sao Miguel, pleasantly welcomed by Ricardo on a late Saturday evening. Many hikes possible all over the island, often quite steep and always green! Nice experiences like swimming in natural springs and in the Atlantic on the west side where warmwater sources pour into the cold Atlantic. Weather varying from blue skies to a true storm, temperatures from 13-21 degrees C depending on night/day and mountain top/seaside.”
