A lovely property
Bright, clean house with a cracking pool and outside area. Listing was exactly as described. Owners right next door, but not intrusive. There are no shops or restaurants within walking distance, so a car is essential. But there is plenty within a short drive, including two lovely beaches and several amazing restaurants. The house is fully self-catering, so stop at the big Intermarche in Aljezur on the way in. The house is in the village of Vales de Telha, not in Aljezur itself. We had a lovely chilled week here.

Peaceful, comfortable and spacious. Great villa for family.
The villa and outdoor area was very spacious for a family of five. It's a very peaceful and quiet location with shops, restaurants and activities all within 5-10 mins drive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the villa and the area in general. Lots to do, great restaurants and shops with everything we needed for staying in at the villa. Would be happy to recommend.

Good base for Arrifana/Monte Clerigo (but see comments)
We enjoyed our recent stay, having visited the area a number of times previously. The Vale de Telha is an excellent spot to locate yourself to explore the local beaches of Arrifana and Monte Clerigo and the property is well located for both. The property itself has lovely outside spaces and the rear garden in particular is nice and private for cooking/relaxing/dining. The house itself is well proportioned and has three double bedrooms and a good sized lounge/kitchen area. I have taken a star off from the review for two reasons. The main reason is that, whilst the outside spaces of the property are really lovely, the inside is quite dated and could do with a spruce up - newer linens and towels in particular are needed. The cooker is also a little old and should be replaced (although the rest of the appliances are much newer). The other reason is that in both of the en-suite bathrooms there was unfortunately a lingering smell from the plumbing and is something that needs to be addressed. This meant that we did not use either en-suite during our stay. For us (2 adults and 2 young children) this wasn’t really a problem because we had the whole place to ourselves and just shared the main bathroom - but for groups/couples wanting their own private bathrooms this would I suspect be an issue. Notwithstanding these two points this is a good place to stay and base yourself to explore this wonderful part of Portugal.

A lovely spacious villa in a good location for exploring the West Coast
We stayed here for 3 nights to explore the Western Algarve. We were greeted on arrival and everything went very smoothly. The villa is very clean, nicely furnished and well equipped. We couldnt get over how quiet it was at night...very peaceful. The garden was perfect for our dog. A lovely relaxing weekend, we look forward to returning.

Férias em Vale da Telha
A estadia foi muito agradável. A casa é grande e tem uma excelente área exterior onde fazíamos as refeições. Piscina de água salgada sempre limpa. A zona é muito sossegada e a Casa tem excelente WI-FI que me permitiu trabalhar grande parte do tempo. Recomendo
