"This is a wonderful hotel, located across from the Mirabell Palace and centrally located within a short walk to all of the major Salzburg attractions. This was our second time staying there and we would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone travelling to Salzburg for business or pleasure. Staff is very helpful and friendly, parking in a public garage (at a discounted rate) is convenient and there are loads of shops and restaurants nearby (hotel also has an excellent in-house restaurant as well). There is public transportation across from the hotel, and the main railroad station is about a 15 minute walk, should you need to go anywhere outside of Salzburg by train. All in all, a great hotel at an affordable rate, considering its location in a major tourist destination."
"Beautiful room! I can truly say that it looked just like the pictures! Even though the square footage of the room seems small by American standards (we were in the smallest room), the layout with the bathroom located around the corner on the outside wall of building made it feel spacious and more than adequate for having two large suitcases splayed open around the room. The fridge with free! Stocked minibar, safe, and nespresso machine are cleverly and beautifully integrated into the wall. The rainfall shower has very very strong water flow (not “sharp” high pressure but very voluminous water) which feels great, although the shower is slightly narrow and there is a grab bar on the wall that is easy for an average sized male to bump into.
The breakfast is very good and has both hot and cold food. Loved the very crispy medallion hashbrowns! For the price offered to add breakfast on hotels.com it’s an absolute steal and was the most inexpensive price I’ve encountered in Europe for 5 star hotel.
Location is perfect. Very close to train stain and right next to mirabell which is also handy for day trips to lake Wolfgang on bus.
The only real negative for us was that the A/C was not quite powerful or cool enough for what we are used to (we are Americans who like to sleep at about 66F/19C degrees year-round at home. Even though the thermostat could go down to 18C/64F there is no way that the AC was actually achieving this. Still, it did provide some coolness from the summer heat."
"Incredible place to stay in Salzburg. Especially for a quick visit when travelling by train. Only problem I had was I couldn’t get the water in the shower to stop being way too hot on our last morning there. But, that could’ve easily been a user error and not the fault of the hotel. Will come again my next visit to Salzburg."
"Great hotel and even a greater location. Staff was helpful in answering all our questions. We were given complementary city transportation pass during our stay and it made our experience in exploring the beautiful city even better. Only comment is for the limited privacy curtain for showers, which maybe bit inconvenient when staying with family. Overall, very happy with the stay and overall experience. Would definitely recommend."
"This hotel was amazing! Loved the central location, comfortable apartments and all the amenities. Checkin was super easy with a PIN number emailed to me, which also served as the access code for the front door."
