I’d rate my stay here a solid 10/10! Even though I travelled solo, it never once felt like it. The resort truly felt like a home away from home. The environment was stunning and peaceful, the staff were outstanding, and the service was top-notch with prompt assistance whenever needed. If I ever return to Zanzibar, this will definitely be my go-to place to stay.

One of the best experience! Wonderful staff, very friendly, they make as feel like part of their family. A very clean hotel, good service, exceptional food and beautiful cocktails! You can also find at the hotel a guide how can arrange your excursion around the island at a very good price. We fully recommend this hotel and look forward to returning soon. Mr Christopher

The Darajani Baazari gathers the most impressive non-beach features of Zanzibar. It is still the place where locals buy groceries and thus present much of their way of living. As unsanitary as it looks, the market is full of fishes and meat conserved far from any Western hygiene standard and makes tourists hope restaurants acquire their products elsewhere.
