Good location

Posted Aug 21, 2016
Overall not a bad hotel. Close enough to downtown that everything is within a 5-10 minute walk. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were able to point out places of interest in downtown and good places to eat. Rooms were quiet and clean, just plain, a few paintings or picture on the wall would lighten up the place. You do have to get dishes and kitchen supplies from the front desk. Breakfast is "grab & go" which means it's coffee, prepackaged muffins, granola bars, and oatmeal. Not what I thought was going to be there after looking online. Overall a great location, and clean rooms. Staff was great, would stay here again.

Easy walk to food and shopping.

Posted Aug 16, 2016
Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: Did not know they had a shuttle to / from airport. That was great.
Location: Shopping, restaurants and a Coastal trail for easy walking along the water.
Really liked it and would stay again. Great staff.

Book somewhere else

Posted Aug 9, 2016
Alright so in a sketch part of town. The hotel smelled terrible like a bad fish fry. Ragamuffins roaming the halls. Woke up multiple times late at night to noise. Honestly I've had better nights at hostels and I have stayed at some shady places. The continental breakfast was really more of an afterthought. Someone just opened a box of granola bars and dumped it into a basket. But seriously for the price you can do infinitely better in this area.

Thank you for taking the time to give feedback about your stay. I sincerely apologize your stay was not as comfortable and convenient as we would like it to be. We believe that communication is an important part of making your experience great. It looks like we failed to effectively communicate that our breakfast is a grab-and-go styled amenity, not a continental one. I hope that the next time your travels take you in the area you will give us an opportunity to show you the Extended Stay hospitality you were looking for.

Good for short stay

Posted Aug 7, 2016
Room was okay. Kitchenette, big bathroom, dark curtains. It was noisy. Doors slamming, people yelling, dogs barking. Breakfast was served from 6:30 to 9:30. I went at 9 and there were only 3 cinnamon rolls left, no napkins or silverware available. There was only coffee available no water or juice and didnt see a place to even heat it up. On the upside the night clerk that night was excellent. Visited with me and gave me restaurant suggestions.

Great hotel for dogs

Posted Aug 5, 2016
Wonderful welcoming staff, Tyler so was so nice and helpful and always willing to chat. Cleaning staff was accommodating and always asking if I needed something, very nice to my dog. I had to checkout at 4am and staff was still nice and helpful.

Our go-to hotel in Anchorage

Posted Jul 21, 2016
This is our go-to hotel. It's a central location and is always reasonably priced even in the height of tourist season. It is located in a busy area of town and there have been the occasional bar crowd issues while we are trying to sleep, but typically this hotel does a great job of keeping a quiet, clean atmosphere even during the busiest of seasons.

As i walked in the room smelled and it was stuffy.

Posted Jul 19, 2016
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything (Not joking)
Location: Nothing I needed.
I have stayed at Extended Stay American for work in Stockton (3 months) and Vacaville (4 months) California and they were great this is way i picked Extended Stay American in Anchorage Alaska. Well so disappointed with Extended Stay American in Anchorage Alaska. The room was not in condition to be rented, toilet set was loose, bathtub stopper was broken, the AC didn't work, the stuffy and smell of cigarettes, the staff didn't care. I was surprised i had to pay to park in there parking lot. Walking into the lobby sunk of cigarettes. There were no communication when i ask for the repairs to be completed.
