9.2/10 Wonderful! (1,430 reviews)
A pretty well maintained hotel. The complimentary breakfast had the staples- including hot options. The room was what you would expect. Adequate. There were a handful of minor annoyances, but no deal breakers. Non working outlets and a frozen over, wobbly fridge for example. Decently clean. We appreciated the easy access from the parking lot, the nice seating area out front and the ice tea in the lobby. The location is near several places to grab a bite and shop. Really our only qualm, was housekeeping opening our door more than once both days— despite having the Do Not Disturb sign up and responding that the room was occupied. We were woken up by housekeeping trying to enter our room hours before checkout. And then disturbed again an hour or so later. Glad we had learned our lesson from being walked in on the day before and had the security latch in place😅. Otherwise a satisfactory stay and we would stay here again.

The staff was very nice. It’s lovely they allow dogs. The property needs some work, the room itself was not great The beds were incredibly lumpy and in need of upgrade. The room was clean though and it had a refrigerator and microwave. I wouldn’t expect breakfast on site as an “amenity” as it was very limited with fruit (maybe they ran out of food?). The only amenity besides two extra rolls of toilet paper and a bar of soap. The staff was very nice and for their hospitality I give them three stars, although we were disappointed with the stay. We were in town for the fair and other hotels that allow dogs were sold out. Would I stay again however, no.

Toxic A/C fumes! Avoid rm 114! I smelled it as soon as I entered but was too much to ask to change rooms. I might have gotten somewhat used to it until waking up at 3:00 am to the same severity of smell as when we first entered. Figured out every time the a/c kicked on we were getting a new shot of toxic air. Never went back to sleep! Our clothes were very damp in the morning due to improper function of a/c, besides the fumes!
