“This is truly a vintage cottage with a private waterfront setting.The cottage is very comfortable. I was there with my two goldens, plenty of room for them to swim and run. This would be a great spot for a family with young children. My only disappointment: I was expecting a kayak as pictured in the listing.”

“House was very clean with the exception of some dust/sand on floors, even though you could not see it walking on the floors in bare feet always felt that that maybe a good washing was needed. We just swept with the broom/vacuum and it was better. But one thing that really stood out when arriving is the cement stairs dug into the hill that you needed to go down to get to the house. “Kyle’s cabin is in an ideal location right on the Crooked River. It’s just five minutes from Sebago Lake State Park, where we took full advantage of the boat ramp and beach several times during our stay. The cabin is also conveniently close to the Naples Causeway, which offers a great variety of restaurants, shops, and fun activities for all ages. ”

“Close to the beach boat rentals and restaurants. Far enough away from the noise. Clean house with all the amenities needed. Philip was great and always available.”

“It was just what the doctor ordered, a month in a quiet (except for street traffic which we could not see, but could hear), wooded, seemingly remote location, that was very private. Lilac cottage is so sweet, a quintessential Maine cottage with good WiFi, 10 minutes from the great town of Bath and lots of parks and beaches. Mark was the perfect host and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. You truly feel alone, yet connected. What a place! It’s stocked with lots of water....

“We loved our short stay here. The house is beautiful and really well decorated. The picture windows overlooking the lake were the best part. We have 3 kids and preferred staying on this inlet of the lake over the main lake. The water was calm and the kids could kayak and paddle boat easily. We had two families of ducks that would swim nearby. The house had everything we could need to cook our own meals. And we really enjoyed the fire pit and s’mores in the evening.We loved our stay! ”

“We had a wonderful experience from start to finish.(3 nights) The Cabin was more than we had expected. The new porch was a surprise and was amazing to chill out on! The walk to Nason's beach was less than 2 minutes. Please take note: VERY BUSY STREET until 10pm. Dogs are not allowed on the beach(something I would've like to have known ahead of time) The hosts were onsite(next cabin over). We had trouble setting up the Wi-Fi, but Frank was there to the rescue. I would highly recommend this...
