Comfortable and great location
We stayed one night in Crail . The property was clean and comfortable . This is a one bedroom with a foldout sofa. The bed was comfortable . The one bathroom is small but functional . There is a well stocked large kitchen, that we didn’t have time to use. Crail it self was beautiful with great walking paths and views

Lovely small old store front apartment. Fully furnished with modern facilities. One real issue: access is not clear and is incomprehensible to Americans - the "key safe" is an "external lock box", not easily recognized, and the door lock is unusual when it comes time to relock. Insist on personal reception with host. All written instructions were in very small type on cards and not in the usual 3 ring binder - ie how to turn on hot water/heating: not easy to figure out at first. Host did come quickly after contact but stressful in finding him via accessing a Wi-Fi system at a nearby pub: ie we do not all carry local phones to reach him otherwise. Once we were checked in, all was good.

Everything we needed for our two night stay. Walking to anywhere, quiet, all amenities close by. Big kitchen for those keen on self catering. Love very comfy double bed.

Great Location
This is probably the most choice place to stay in Crail, which itself is a lovely town with all kinds of charm. The place is within easy walk of the CoOp, Chippery, Golf Hotel, harbor, and several restaurants. The owners could not have been nicer!

Easy walk to walk along the harbor
A lovely place to stay that provides an easy walk to walk along the harbor. If golf is your game you can get to all of the historic links in St Andrews in a short drive (or putt if you're really that good!). Whatever you choose to do this is a great base to do it from.

Ideal location
Just a few doors away from our daughters house. It was perfect for "escaping" from crazy family house for some peace. Lovely and warm for southern softies.

Short n sweet
We were meeting family for a catch up. This was ideal it was central and had all the requirements for a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend and if I can I would return for a longer stay in future. We also had a meal in the Golf Hotel which was excellent and in the morning we all managed to meet in the Harbour tearoom which is also excellent. Crail is a lovely seaside town and is so worth a visit.

Comfortable and central
Lovely property in a central location. Local shops between 2 and 5 mins walk away. The famed 95 bus which gets you everywhere along the coast from Leven and up to St Andrews either across the road (in front of the fantastic butchers) or moments away on the other side. Immaculately presented and comfortable. Bed a bit too firm for me but that's personal preference.

Great family holiday
We stayed here for our first family holiday with our new baby and it was perfect. The apartment is cosy and beautifully furnished and the log burning stove was a great bonus. It's the ideal location on the high street, right next to what we consider the best chipper in the country. We will definitely be back.

I booked for me and partner as we had a wedding nearby but due to work he couldn’t make it, so took a girl pal and so glad I did, great location for nipping into St. Andrews for dinner and the house is absolutely gorgeous for a girls night afterwards. It is very well presented , cleans and overall has a cosy feel. The owners were also great at sending all details on I needed. I would recommend booking this house if your looking for somewhere in the area , perfect weekend getaway! I would certainly book here again if I’m on the east coast anytime soon.

Fantastic stay!
The photos in no way did this property justice; it is a real gem of an apartment in a fabulous location. The kitchen, in particular, is much more spacious and the lounge much more homely. Viv and Robert were keen communicators and kept us informed all the way, even allowing us a later checkout so that we could watch the ill-fated rugby world cup final :-(. Crail is a beautiful spot and we had a wonderful week reminding ourselves of all the lovely places there are to visit in the East Neuk, Fife and beyond. Highly recommended - but keep it to yourselves - we need to be able to book another stay soon!

Lovely property very central and convenient for everything in Crail. Modern luxurious and well equipped. Only minor points we couldn’t open any windows and it was a hot spell. The terrace is definitely ‘wee’. All in all wonderful accommodation.

This apartment was so comfortable, the location was superb- close to the harbor, a wonderful local restaurant and a short jaunt to the co-op. The owner was so helpful, when I couldn’t figure out a few things- she showed up and helped me along the way!

Was just overnight as was celebrating a birthday in St Andrews. Had family with me from the USA. The flat was lovely and cosy, beautifully renovated with all mod cons. The flat was clean and comfortable and I would recommend it to anyone. It was just a pity we didn't have more time to explore and enjoy a lovely area.

Had a lovely couple of days at this apartment. Very clean & comfortable. Crail is ideal for a holiday break by the sea, with a great bakery, wholefood shop, supermarket, butchers and greengrocers. Would recommend. Good communication from the owner.

Very clean and comfortable. Right next to a nice small village. Easy check in and great amenities.
Great spot; love the small town and location on the water. Great to have a washing machine, as we have been traveling for a while. Exceeded our expectations (other than wireless, which was sporadic at best). Easy check in and checkout. I definitely recommend this stay.

We had a lovely 3 nights over New Year the apartment is fantastic with everything you would need. There are are local shops and a couple of pubs within easy walking distance. Everyone is really friendly and make you feel welcome in their village.

Great stay!
The place is lovely, well decorated, clean and big enough for 2 adults and 2 children. The location is perfect, bakery, tea room and restaurant are close if you do not arrive too late. There is a wonderful walk on the sea side, on the harbor, you can eat lobsters and crabs. Thank you Viv for this great stay!
