Gite Archignac *** located in the Dordogne, between Sarlat and Montignac. Village of St Genies, with typical roofs Lauze 5mn (small shops). Salignac-Eyvigues 10 minutes where you will find: Intermarché and fuel station, bakery, butcher, post office, bank, medical office (Kynes, dentists, nurses, doctors, occupational therapist). Archignac is also 30 minutes from Brive.
Description: Ground floor: Living-room 30m2, fitted kitchen, spacious bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilet. Floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 with 2 beds of 90 and 1 bed 140 and 1 mezzanine with sofa bed. Stone cottage completely restored, facing south on land overlooking wooded, beautiful view, quiet, children's games. Start hiking on the spot.

Tranquility
We have had a wonderful two weeks at this property on Les Trois Chemins. Martine was most welcoming and helpful. The cottage is lovely and comfortable and the setting is delightful. We could wander around their vast garden, with the fruit trees, vegetable plots and 5 hens and cool off in the pool. The area is very rural with many picturesque villages and towns within an easy drive. The daily trip to get the bread at Saint Genies was a pleasant start to each day. A very relaxing holiday in this delightful part of France. Thank you Martine. Carol and Anna

Far from the Madding Crowd
Although the cottage was difficult to find, when we did eventually find it, Martine was helpful in spite of my sparse French. The cottage is finished throughout with wood to a high spec. The rooms were spotlessly clean. The kitchen is more than adequate and well equipped. A comfortable lounge /dining room has television and CD player. The shower is excellent. Upstairs the two bedrooms are basic but fairly comfortable. We loved the pool and the vast outside area with orchard. The cottage is some distance from any shops/ bars etc and is very quiet in rural Aquitaine. A car is essential.All in all, we enjoyed our tranquil week here, and would commend it to anyone who likes peace and quiet.

Location au top pour des vacances dans une superbe région
Fin Août et début Septembre 2023, deux semaines de vacances dans une location typique de la région, très bien équipée. Une piscine au top de par sa taille et son exposition, et que dire de cette superbe vue lorsque nous déjeunions sur la terrasse. Les propriétaires Pascale et Philippe sont charmants, discrets et d'une gentillesse. Le Périgord Noir est une belle région et malgré que ce n'est pas la première fois que nous allons dans cette région, il nous faudra revenir, car nous sommes loin d'avoir tout vu. Location à recommander. Si je peux me permettre une suggestion, il faudrait juste y mettre des moustiquaires dans les chambres pour nous permettre de les rafraîchir durant la nuit.

Nous avons passé 2 superbes semaines au sein du logement situé sur la vaste propriété de Philippe et Pascale. Merci pour leur accueil très chaleureux, leur discrétion et leur disponibilité. Le logement est parfaitement équipé, la grande piscine rien que pour les locataires est un vrai plus. Les enfants ont également beaucoup apprécié le vaste terrain, les jeux mis à leur disposition. La situation géographique du logement permet de visiter les principaux centres d' intérêts de la région en 30 minutes de voiture en moyenne. Juste parfait !

Vacances dans un lieu verdoyant et très agréable
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cet environnement calme et verdoyant. Le gîte était très agréable et très bien équipé. La piscine, privative, est très belle. Le gîte est absolument parfait. il est spacieux, bien aménagé et surtout bien équipé, il ne manque rien. La piscine est exceptionnelle, très grande et très agréable avec la terrasse et les transats. Un havre de paix pour se reposer en famille. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques tout en étant discrets. Nous les remercions pour les infos qu'ils nous ont transmises : marchés à proximité, etc

Nous avons passé une semaine parfaite en tous points dans ce gîte. La maison est très bien équipée, très joliment décorée, tout à fait conforme aux photos. Nous avons passé de très agréables moments au bord de la piscine. Le calme des lieux et la vue sur le verger sont propices à la détente. Idéalement située, la localisation permet d'accéder rapidement à de nombreux sites touristiques. A recommander les yeux fermés !

Experience agréable et site historique très intéressant
Notre séjour a été gâché par le mauvais temps pendant 3 jours mais malgré tout nous avons visité la région. L'accueil de Martine et son mari est très convivial, on se sent comme chez soi. Merci beaucoup a Igor et Pongo, pour s'être amusé avec nos enfants. Bonne continuation et à très bientôt !
