This hotel is an historical building with quite beautiful architecture. However it lacks many amenities of newer hotels such as AC, hair dryers and a fridge. The rooms and furnishings are very dated but fit into the character of the building. The area is quiet and not touristy which is nice for those who prefer this. We only ate in the restaurant for breakfast and it was pretty good. We did find ants in our room but the employees were very accommodating and made sure we were comfortable in another room.

The resort is amazing, super clean. The buffets are excellent, tons of selections, staffs are very friendly.
The room was spacious and perfect.
We really enjoy are stay, and we will be back.

Bardzo miła pani recepcjonistka która sporo doradziła i opowiedziała o wyspie. Na powitanie lokalne wino. Jednak te zdjęcia przy bukowaniu to ściema. Hotel dosyć daleko od centrum i basen na dachu malitki

Pestana Royal is a very outdated hotel. If you are looking for clean modern look that is not the place for you.
If you are looking for a place with high quality food that is not the right place. Food quality is very poor.
It is a very mediocre place with clean rooms and very mediocre food.
