"After reading some reviews I was nervous opening the door to the apartment, and it was so much better than I expected. I was disappointed we were only staying one night on our way to the Algarve region. Parking was easy (free overnight, just bring euros for the meter) the neighborhood was so quiet and lovely. The 2 bedroom we chose was huge, with an outdoor seating area and the pool was so nice. The kitchen fully equipped, just really comfortable and clean. Then we wandered up the hill and happened upon a lovely small outdoor restaurant with live music and enjoyed a terrific meal at Ta Nacho. Truly magical evening. Would highly recommend staying here."

The absolute best thing about the hotel were the staff. Flawlessly professional, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Restaurant recommendations and reservations were handled with aplomb. I’d never seen a 10.0 rating before. They certainly met that standard for me."

Ideal for a trip to Evora which is about 15 miles away with good parking just outside town.also not far from a megalithica worth a vist but it is a long hike up the hill to see it."
"Feels like living in a historic bldg (built in 1500) with frescos and plaster walls and high ceilings. Situated in center old town close to cathedral and Roman ruins. Plenty of shops and restos nearby. Breakfast was fabulous. Rooms were fairly spacious and bidets in bathroom. Have to pay for parking "

"The place is nice but in need of refurbishment as some of the aspects of room and the interior pool area are a little dated. The interior pool was not heated as expected and the breakfast on 1st day was not as expected as they decided to not serve the buffet and so only one member for staff to bring request to all guests ended up being a bit chaotic. Its a nice enough place but for price I think they should have done better and need a bit of upkeep."
