We have stayed at planet hollywood several times and had good experiences. It is a good value, has a great location on the strip and having the Miracle Shops with multiple affordable food options is a big plus. Unfortunately on this trip we were given a terrible room for the first night. It was a Thursday night we arrived around midnight after a long flight. We were given a room near the elevators and the noise in the room from the elevators was loud and constant. The room was small and rundown In the bathroom the walls even vibrated from the elevators. I did not sleep at all. At 5 am I got up and asked for a different room. I was told I had to come back at noon and talk to a specific person. I dif that and had to stand in line and finally spoke to that person who gave us a different room for the rest of our stay. The rest of the time went fine.

Horrible checkin / checkout... Would never stay there again...Double charged me entire stay and still fighting to get someone to refund 2nd one that is so clearly a duplicate for same stay....
