"I booked a driving experience for my partner’s birthday back in January and we deliberately waited until summer to make a weekend of it. This review is about the hotel rather than the driving experience. A few things future guests should know: you can’t cast your phone to the TV and there are no streaming services such as Netflix, so maybe bring a Fire Stick. There are no robes or slippers provided. The shower is essentially a wet room, so the floor gets very wet and flip-flops are useful. I’d recommend booking the restaurant in advance as it was fully booked when we arrived, and there are very few delivery options nearby. The biggest issue was the noise. Within the first two hours we complained five times. Reception called the room above us and later spoke to them in person, but the noise only stopped briefly before continuing throughout the evening and the following morning. The only quiet period was between 8:30am and 9:30am, which we used to try and sleep, meaning we missed the breakfast included with our stay. We complained again, requested a late checkout before the 2pm driving experience, and although the late checkout fee was waived, we could only stay until midday. We were so sleep deprived that my partner couldn’t fully enjoy the driving experience. Being offered a complementary late breakfast/ lunch whilst waiting for the drive experience would’ve been appreciated. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our stay at all and left hungry, tired, and excited to go home."

"Lovely hotel, the only negative is the bathroom (bath) layout. The ease of getting in and out of the bath with the surrounding boxing I found very unsafe. The step in and out is far too big. Even after using the bath mat provided and the hand rail I still managed to have an accident and I’m a young and fit person. The fact that a sign is on the wall telling people to use the handrail means the hotel must realise this is an issue."

"Staff were all really lovely and helpful - family room was a great size with two large double beds and clean in general (although the carpet was sticky!!) pool facilities were small but nice just hard to get booked in due to it being popular but we managed one swim (remeber your £1 for the locker). We stayed for 3 nights whilst visiting the space centre and Cadbury world and it was the perfect half way base for this. The hotel itself is really big and there were a number of conferences happening whilst we were there but this didn’t affect us (ie noise etc) overall great stay and we will hopfully be back again as we have friends down south and this will be a great halfway point to meet up!"

Lovely breakfast in the morning with a wide range of options and good quality fresh ingredients. Overall a lovely hotel with fabulous staff.
