"There were 3 of us and we were very, very happy with all of the space especially in the common areas such as the kitchen and dining area and the living room. There was plenty of room for us to park both cars. Our host was so accommodating! We had a toilet issue and he sent a plumber to fix it within 30 minutes!! Great service. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to anyone coming to Jacksonville!"

"Enjoyed, close to waterfall and park. Enjoyed watching movies on a rainey day. Nice kitchen, i cooked a meal, in the well supplied kitchen. May need vanities in bedrooms with only 2 baths. A nightstand is needed in the bunk room."

"We came to Alabama for my birthday yo visit family. The home is beautiful and the most comfortable and well stocked home i have ever stayed in!! Everything was clean and the coffee bar made my stay!! The owner is lovely. She even added a birthday sign for me. ❤️ The home is close to tons of eating and shopping options but in a quiet neighborhood. Best of both worlds. Theres even a fire pit area! We didn't get to do that but this will not be our last stay here. It definitely felt like a home away...

"Property did not disappoint. Located right on the lake, it was a pleasant and peaceful experience. The listing was spot on. Very clean, organized. As with any house, appliances were not perfect but communication with the owner was very easy. They were very accessible. Access to Talladega Motorspeedway was amazing. We were in and out of the speedway within minutes because we were able access the track from the back side. Highly recommend this property!"

"This place is the best we’ve stayed at. Screened back porch with fans and a grill. Parking for 2 trucks and boats. Lots of room and a great size kitchen. Lots of yard space. Theres a pier with a boat lift too."

"The house has a great space for families! We rented for our family of 6 and wow! It was actually too much space!! We highly recommend for a family rental! This is a cousin house for sure! The bunk room easily held 10 kids and there are two queen/king rooms and a huge laundry room with two trundles! If it had a 1/2 bath it would be perfect! The kitchen/dining room are massive, you can host and feed probably 15-20ppl!! It is an amazing lake house and though we only came for a weekend it would be...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s a little confusing when you first get in the home. Once we figured out where everything was we had no problems. My husband & I came for a Talladega race with our 14 yr old son & his 2 friends. We stayed on the 3rd floor master where the kitchen & main living area are. They boys stayed in the rooms on the 2nd floor and had use of the 1st floor with living area, hot tub, sauna & pool table without disturbing us. The elevator & all amenities were great. WiFi...

"After 3 days riding cross country, 5 motorcyclists spent a great 3 nights at "The House On The Lake". Wonderful place, lots of charm and loads of lakeside deck...and our own pier! The covered parking was a huge bonus. Nice place to clean the bikes and keep them out of the elements. Surrounded on three sides by water on a placid lake - it was a terrific place to recharge. Highly recommended!"
