“This beautiful little cottage was the perfect respite for our week of exploring the local area with our Son's. It was a short drive to the bustle of WSM and easy to get around to places like Cheddar Gorge and the Wookey hole. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed and more for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The garden was a dream view and we really appreciated being able to sit in it of an evening, after a busy day out and about it was pure bliss to come home……

“Meet up for a family birthday with infants. Chosen for central location from where we live. Lovely house and gardens with excellent facilities. ”

The flat is well equipped, especially the kitchen, and we were very happy there was a large fan keeping us cool as it was a hot week! The beds are nice and comfortable, bathroom is large and modern, living room has digital tv and wifi. The host was easy to communicate with and left lots of DVD's to watch if we wanted. We appreciated the welcome package of tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and chocolate!……

“We were celebrating my wife’s 70th birthday, and wanted comfortable and special accommodation for family members and friends. We also wanted to be able to enjoy a grand meal together for up to 14 of us. Compton House was perfect for us - a very unusual and lovely property. “Really nice stay for a “rest and recharge” getaway. The shepherds hut was exactly as the pictures - clean and tidy when we arrived. The owners had a folder with all the useful information we would need during our stay (how to use the hot tub, location for waste and recycling bins, nearby public footpaths etc). A nice secluded area from the rest of the property to allow for privacy. I would definitely recommend and consider again for a couple’s holiday. ”
