“Had a fantastic weekend here. We love Oscoda and this is a beautiful spot right on Lake Huron. The manager Chad was very helpful and a super nice guy. Keep in mind before booking this place doesn’t have certain amenities like towels, soap or shampoo and garbage bags. It does have appliances, silverware, dishware, and an outdoor grill. They’re in the process of updating it so right now so many things are pretty rough around the edges, especially the interior of the cabins. We wouldn’t hesitate to……

“Great little place! Beautiful views of the lake, great yard for games and bonfires, and nicely stocked and clean interior for us to relax and enjoy with our friends for a weekend up north. Owner was great at communication when we had a little struggle with the lock and were able to get us squared away! Would definitely stay again. ”

I have managed rental properties so I am familiar with the issues that might come along with a property. Other than the dock not being usable - this home gets an A. The home provides everything a family might need. Having nice accommodations increases the enjoyment of a vacation. ”

“We had a great stay! The cottage was exactly like the pictures showed, very cute and updated. Lake Huron was just outside our door. We had some spectacular sun rises and sunsets! We were there for leaf peeping and would love to return in the summer time. ”

Every morning we we're able to see right from the back door the beautiful sunrise. 90% of our time was spent just sitting down by the water. “Overall enjoyed our stay here. The cabins are right on the shared beach, and the cabins were older, but clean. We will stay again someday; it was a nice getaway!”

“Beautiful beach that we walk mile on with our two dog. Perfect weather and location. No road noise. The perfect place to recharge. Second stay and planning a week in the summer .”

“We liked that it was practical and felt like a home away from home. Some cabins feel like they’re trying to be hotels and that’s fine, but this felt more like a quiet, simplified home. The layout was practical and there were places to hang towels. It made good use of the available space. It’s located away from the busy street and between Tawas and Oscoda, making for a shorter drive to both places. Our only downside was the beds were small (they are listed as double — so I just thought in my head……
