Auburn Family Visit
We were in town for a weekend family visit/staycation. Tom and Lisa’s farmhouse was the perfect place to get away from the busy city life. The home was very charming, super clean, conveniently located away from big city life but not too far from conveniences. We left wishing we could’ve stayed a little longer but will definitely be back again. My favorite part was sipping coffee on the porch in the morning and watching random chickens and roosters wandering through the yard. Next time we’ll definitely take Tom and Lisa up on their offer for a tour of the farm. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

Farm house
What a charming farm house. Everything was so clean, beds were comfortable. Fresh flowers everywhere, fresh oranges from their trees and fresh eggs for us. Tom even showed us the animals. Definitely would stay here again.

Sister Trip
Love this cute farmhouse! This is the second year of doing our sister trip here. We love the atmosphere and the chickens, ducks and kitty that come around to visit. Tom and Lisa are so kind. They will help you with anything you need. This time when we stayed it was a bit cold and rainy. Lisa brought up extra blankets for us so we wouldn’t get chilled and supplied us with ingredients to make cookies. They were delicious but by the way….The house is kept clean and is so inviting with fresh flowers everywhere and fruit from the orchard on the table. The air is fresh and the frogs at night down by the little creek bring back memories of staying at our grandparents farmhouse when we were kids. It is just a wonderful, relaxing experience for all of us. We will continue to stay here every year for as long as Tom and Lisa keep it going. We love it!!

Perfect stay
We loved the Farmhouse! We were looking for a calm, beautiful place to rest, reflect, recover and of course, eat well. The Farmhouse was ideal: filled with character and lovely details, a welcoming alternative to a hotel room, we all slept really well, spent hours in the huge kitchen gathered around the large farm table, and the rest of our time in the cozy livingroom by the fire. Our hosts were incredible. Close proximity to beautiful hiking and good food.

Great Weekend!
Lovely little farm, Tom gave us and the little ones a tour. Chickens, cows, sheep, pigs, a visiting deer. The kids loved feeding the animals. Communication was excellent. If there was a way to give more than 5 stars for that I would. Comfortable beds, sheets, and towels and lovely little personal touches from the history of the property. We would book again!

Lovely rural retreat
We stayed over Memorial Day Weekend for a family wedding in Foresthill. We were presented with fresh eggs when we arrived and delighted in the beautifully arranged fresh flowers in the rooms. Although it seemed out in the country, the location was fine - we were only 15 minutes away from the hotel in Auburn where the wedding party stayed. Tom and Lisa kindly extended our original booking to include Friday night when there was a change of plans. It was quiet and cozy with everything we needed - a good shower and plenty of towels.
