Avalon Beach Vacations from $875

The rooms and building in the Beach House is not peaceful. They have events on the sixth floor apparently and you can hear it ALL on the fifth floor. This weekend we had music, bass, dancing, and ceiling shaking. We had an early flight today and my husband had gotten the flu and just needed rest. Between being able to hear everything upstairs, you also get to hear every conversation and noise and footsteps in your neighbor's rooms. I called the front desk 4 TIMES last night. I was told first there should be no music, they were sending security. Then I was told there is an event, will be done by 9 pm. Then they took down tables and chairs and drug them across the floor until after midnight. I called down about that. No luck. No sleep. Then our neighbors were obviously upset and were screaming at them to shut up and knock it off and banging on the ceiling to stop. Then brought and early this morning, more music and piano and singing. I went right to the front desk. They said there's an event going on. So two suggestions to this resort. Either move the events and parties to the main building OR better insulate all rooms in that building because we didn't pay that much money for an ocean view room to be kept at until after midnight, needing to wear ear buds to hear the TV over the noise, then be back at it early on a Sunday morning. Not acceptable. So yes you will have a nice view, however you will not have peace or quiet or sleep.

The beach view was awesome. Never went in pool. Weather was not great. Cold wet and windy but condo was beautiful and well appointed making staying in doors quite pleasant

The property set the bar for a relaxing, yet engaging, vacation. The room was spacious, as we were accommodating five people.The food choices were diverse and the pool areas were laid out beautifully. The live music by the pool was such a a nice touch, and there was any activity one could want by the water. A swift walk to the beach for another adventure directly across from the hotel set the tone for a day of fun I. The sun. We will be back.

Woodside Restaurant at Gulf State Park is the best kept secret of Gulf Shores. Emma at breakfast and Issac at dinner, made our meals welcoming and special.
