Beautiful spot, perfectly furnished.
This is a gem of a property right off the sand in Avila Beach. Stayed with 2 kids, 2 parents, 2 grandparents, and the sofa sleeper and air mattress worked great. We really enjoyed sipping coffee watching the sunrise over the beach, and made great use of the grill with ribeyes and salmon on consecutive nights. Nice and quiet at night. I would love to come back again!

Perfect spot for Avila Beach
This condo is perfect for the location and layout! We had friends renting the condo next door and it was so nice to open up the patio and share it. The views from the patio are exceptional, we enjoyed it all hours of the trip. The beach is a few steps away which is amazing. The grocery downtlstairs has the best hot good as well as acai bowls downstairs... everyone enjoyed it! Great trip!

Ideal location
The condo is right on front street with beautiful views of the beach and ocean! Nice to have a 2 car garage when Avila gets covered up on the weekends. We enjoyed cooking a few meals in the well-stocked kitchen. The balcony is very large and we would have eaten at the outdoor table if not for the cold temps. The gas fireplace was a big plus and did a great job of keeping us warm and cozy. Had one issue with the stove but property management was quick to respond and get a service person to fix it. Would love to stay at this property again!

Avila Beach Magic
Hello everyone….our five day stay at Avila Beach oceanfront condo, directly above the Avila Market was outstanding and simply magical. This IS the best view of Avila Beach along the main drive. Access to all restaurants, shops etc. we’re within walking distance. We will definitely look forward to coming back here again as, this was our second time visiting this charming little beach town. We loved our time here…Thank you!

Beautiful Location but be prepared...
The pictures and location were amazing. We are very familiar with Avila Beach and knew the location was central everything in the town. The bedrooms are located in the back of the condo, so the common area has the amazing deck & view. All good, but the only thing I guess I didn't realize is the amount of stairs you had to climb to get to the condo. There's parking in a tight long garage where you can park tandem. But it's not very big, so definitely no large vehicles like an SUV/trucks. Then you need to climb a lot of stairs to get to the front door of the condo. You walk by 2 bedrooms to get to the kitchen, family room & deck with the view. The huge number of stairs was a biggie for me and my teenagers, but be aware not to pack heavy bags or if you are unable to climb a lot of stairs this isn't the condo for you. Otherwise, waking up to the sights and sounds of the ocean was pretty awesome!

Cool beach getaway
It was a nice spot on the beach. Location was really ideal with great views and close to everything. One of the bedrooms had no windows at all, which was kind of strange, air vents needed a bit of cleaning.

Absolutely Prime Location
Loved our stay, and would definitely repeat. --As others noted, some noise from the market below but more during the day than at night (doors opening and closing/creaking/slamming). --Patio could use a sweep from time to time, but indoors was immaculate. --Remodel was expertly done with build-in cabinets etc. --Beautiful place, amazing views, and instant beach access. --Host company was friendly and easy to deal with. Check-in process extremely smooth. No real complaints!

Wonderful stay
The condo is in a preferred location. My sister and I sat on the balcony for hours watching people go by and listening and watching the oceans waves. The condo is very clean, the beds are comfortable. We definitely want to come back here next year.

Our Happy Place!
My best friend and I stayed at this Condo for 5 nights and couldn't have picked a more perfect place! It was super convenient and loved the proximaty and views to the ocean right across the street. The only issue we had was there are 2 flights of stairs to get up to the condo so we should have packed lighter. Also, while the 2nd bedroom is very nice, it has no window. I have a good size SUV which barely fit width wise in the garage & hard to back out, etc. but with all of that....we would stay here again in a heart beat! It was clean, modern (loved the showers) and had everything we needed including one of the best views in Avila Beach!! We're already planning out next trip here. Oh, and LOVE Avila Beach!!!

Perfect Beach Weekend
My family and I came to Avila beach for a concert that was at the golf resort. We stayed at this property and had a perfect time. We could walk everywhere, including to the concert and back. The people watching from the balcony was highly entertaining.

We had a wonderful time! Central location in Avila with plenty to do in walking distance. The patio overlooking the beach was great. The nighttime noise from the store below that some other reviewers referenced was nonexistent during our stay. We will be coming again!

An Avila Get Away
Great stay. Beautiful view and conveniently located on Front St. in Avila Beach. The unit comes with garage parking, which was a great benefit. We enjoyed ourselves. A few notes: 1) there are two flights of stairs up to the unit from the garage, which can be challenging for some, including my parents who are seniors. 2) This is a vacation property managed by a separate vacation company, so by booking through VRBO, I had to pay double the booking fees and sign a separate rental contract. The owner’s fees, service fees, and taxes were $590, so bear that in mind when booking.

Whenever you book thorugh an Online Trave Agency such as vrbo or any and all of the others. It doesn't matter where you go, direct booking will always save you money. We manage between 120 - 140 furnished vacation rentals and chances are your next booking will be one of ours. Your accounting doesn't sound right at all. For instance, we don't even have owner fees...

Wonderful beach front getaway!
We were very happy with our stay at this condo for our family of 3! It is a great location- waking up with the view and sitting on the deck every morning was a perfect way to start our day. The condo was spacious and clean, also felt warm and inviting. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and basic cleaning supplies. The pantry is also available for use if you like to bring snacks. drinks etc. Having a garage to park in was also a huge plus. We didn't have any issues, but any interactions we had with the rental company were professional and friendly. The rules for the condo are also posted in a couple places, so it was easy to read for reference. You can hear buzzing at night in the master bedroom, but it became "white noise" and not a deal breaker. We also loved the outside shower, especially after long days on the beach. We hope to be back again!

Can't Wait to Stay Again!
This property was PERFECT for a weekend getaway for me and my friends. We wanted accommodations right on the beach as we did not want to leave the condo due to the pandemic. This property allowed us to fully enjoy the beach without having to leave our isolation. The balcony was large and had a BBQ and a table with seating for 6. The property had all the necessary amenities we needed, such as soap, shampoo, cleaning supplies, fully furnished kitchen, fireplace, Netflix, and tons more. The only negative I experienced was not being able to easily find the gate to enter the parking lot. This is also the only way to access the entrance to the property. But this was so minor. I can't wait to go back to Avila so that I can stay at this property again!

Perfect location and view
Great location, right on top of Avila market. The view from the balcony was amazing and we caught the most beautiful sunsets. Like previous reviews, it could use some updating and there is a little noise from the market below but that didn’t bother us. Was grateful for all the kitchen supplies as we cooked our Thanksgiving turkey and meal without having to get much of anything at all. All together, lovely stay and would come again! Thank you

Great Views
With some upgrades, this would be 5-star. 5-star views but gave 4 stars because the pillows are fairly old and really uncomfortable. So we didn’t actually get a good night’s sleep the whole week.. The dishwasher is so loud we couldn’t run it while in the condo! And there was also some commercial equipment from the market below that hummed off and on all night. All things that could probably be addressed before the next stay.

We agree! These almost ocean front units take a beating from the marine layer and the slightest wind brings so much beach dust. We haven't had a chance to do deep cleaning since summer begain in earnest late May. However, we have considerable time set aside over the next couple months to clean, repair and refurbish this unit and it's next door neighbor as needed. Come see us again in January.. the weather is usually fantastic and I'm sure you'll be impressed!! 😊

Great Little Place, Beautiful View!
We own a vacation place in San Luis Obispo and we always wonder what it’s like to stay right on the beach in Avila, our favorite little town. We finally had an opportunity in this adorable little condo. It was clean and have a great view! The private garage parking was worth the entire price of admission! Lol. It was so nice to not have to fight for parking. Thanks for a great weekend. It was a nice way to spend our anniversary. We’ll be back!

Great location, fun family vacation
Stayed at this property for a week with another family. It was a great location, clean, comfortable, directly across the street from the beach, near shops and restaurants, and right above the Avila Market. We had two toddlers in our group and it was perfect for them too. Enjoyed the beach, park, Bob Jones trail, aquarium, Avila barn, Friday night farmers market - so many fun things to do! We will be back!

Good place to stay for indoor/outdoor getaway
We enjoyed the view, instant access to Avila's beach front eateries, Farmer's Market, walking trails and of course beach. The condo is clean, and has a well stocked kitchen, extra blankets, linens and pillows and clean towels. The outdoor shower is a plus. Dealing with Coastal Vacations was excellent; quick response time, kind and courteous customer service. The only reason I don't give a 5-stars is that the building next door is under major construction as well as the grocery/restaurant directly below the condo, so, unfortunately the machinery (fans? paint can mixer? refrigeration boxes?) made for disturbed sleep each late night and early early mornings we were there. Perhaps when you stay the construction will be complete and you'll get a restful night's sleep.

Fabulous location & well laid out Ocean View over Avila Market
This spot was perfect for our needs: a private deck for sunbathing and eating with unobstructed views of the beach, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths (showers only), open plan living-kitchen-eating space ajoining the deck. Clean and well maintained for our visit. Nice little touches like the copper sinks with dolphins adoring them in both baths, and a simple outdoor shower just by the main entrance to wash off feet and whatever else is sandy before heading indoors. We loved the lay out and location. Pic's don't quite do it justice, in my opinion. Our story: One person arrived sick, and various members of our group got sick over the course of our 5 day visit.... so we especially LOVED that the space was so comfortable for the sick ones to hang out in, catch sun on the private deck & take in the scene from above. Also, for those feeling good and ready to play, it 's right there close to great fun: SUP rentals, bike rentals--check out the Bob Trail = ) --the beach, Avila Market, Blue Moon Over Avila.... Also, pretty convenient to SLO and Cal Poly (~ 10 min). We kept saying how *very glad* we were that we HADN'T opted for a cheap hotel or a rental a few blocks from the beach!! A Heads Up: 1) You will need to bring you own beach towels, suncreen, and any beach toys, beach chairs, etc. ---a bit Sparten in that respect. 2) I'd say the MAX you could *comfortably* fit would be 6, and actually I personally would keep it at 4. DETAILS: Each BR sleeps 2, there is a pull out couch that could sleep 2, and there is a hidaway bed in a closet that I'm guessing sleeps one (BUT where it would actually go is a bit of a mystery!) 3) the Kitchen faucet handle is a bit wonky (installed at a 90 degree angle??), so takes a bit of playing with to find where hot and cold are. Easy enough once you figure it out, but should probably be addressed. 4) It is a 2nd floor flat. Stairs, no elevator. 5) It's a gem! In summary, we'll definitely aim to stay there again on our next Avila Beach visit.
