Relaxing Get-away!
As a CPA, my wife and I were decompressing from a busy tax season and this unit proved to be a perfect accommodation for our weekend time away. We set out on the patio which overlooked the beach and just people-watched, read and relaxed. The unit was well appointed and clean. We had a great time and will visit this property again.

Family summer Vacation
The beach front condo was a perfect place to have the view of the beach! It was quiet in the early morning and evening, with great beach access. We enjoyed all the amenties and the views from the outdoor patio. It was clean and had a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and couches. The parking spot provided was a little tight for our SUV and there are 2 levels of stairs to climb to get from parking to the door-this was alot of up and down with kids and beach gear. Overall, our stay was a good experience at the condo- many family memories made. The property management team did not accommodate early check in as requested (with 3 kiddos and a car load of gear- this would have been helpful ) they told me the cleanjng crew was still there when we arrived at approx. 320pm. I was told they would send me the gate code at 4pm, which they didnt. I had to call again, to have this sent to me. When we got inside, all windows were were locked up, and it was extremely hot and stuffy, which made me wonder if it had been finished earlier. We have rented before through this company and they have always been attentive and accommodating ...not sure what happened this time.

Avila Escape
I've been coming to Avila Beach for most of my life and have stayed at many of the local hotels over the years. This particular VRBO, right on Front Street and above the market was our favorite stay to date. The space felt like we had lived here for a long time. It just felt like home to us and you can't beat the views, people, and marine life watching (and the perfect place to sip some wine) on the seaside deck. Literally, everything was perfect for us. Zero complaints. Can't wait to go back!

Great location!
Nice to be able to hang out on the patio but not have to be in the fray of all the people on the street! Jose, the host, was wonderful and communicated through text when our phones wouldn’t work. It was a wonderful weekend!

Perfect Avila Beach stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay in Avila. The location was so convenient and very nice to have an easily accessible reserved parking spot. The rental property was well kept and maintained. We wished the fridge/sink had a RO system or filter for drinking water, but this was a minute issue. It was sometimes a little noisy being above the grocery store including hearing a smoke alarm early in the morning but all in all, couldn’t be the location. We will happily return in the future!

Great Beach Getaway
Beautiful condo, excellent location, clean and had everything needed. Great stay!!! The only comment was the bedrooms were hot at night, with not much breeze, and no air conditioning. Probably don't usually don't need it at the beach- warm time of year

Great getaway spot. Slept soundly to the sound of the waves with the windows cracked. Very convenient access to the beach, coffee and downstairs market. Did not recall that the description detail included the two flights of stairs to reach the front door. Got my steps in. Would definitely rent again.

Great for the family
Second time renter. We had our young kids, and this property was great for them. While one is napping, the rest can still enjoy the great view from the balcony. Easy beach access and can watch your crew from the rental, too.

Off Season Beach Getaway
I booked this getaway purely for the location, but was pleasantly surprised by the whole place. It was clean on arrival, and the interior is nicer than the pictures even do justice. The balcony is perfect for sitting and drinking coffee while you watch the waves or having a nice lunch with a view. We brought Grandma who was able to watch her grandchild play out on the beach below from the comfort of the balcony. There is a shower outside the front door where you can rinse off your feet and keep the sand out! Having two bathrooms was key for our group and both are up to date and nice! We used the over to bake cookies and the place had all the kitchen utensils we needed. The tv is a smart tv so we watching Netflix and Disney plus movies at night. Would recommend bringing your own beach towels/toys/bikes as well as anything to keep warm on the balcony in the evenings/early mornings. Around 8:00 every night the store below closes the side door which is really loud but honestly very quick and I found that any noise from the shops below was gone after that. The carport is easy to get in and out of and takes away the pressure of trying to find street parking. Honestly, I highly recommend this spot on the offseason, when the crowds are low and you can curl up with a good book and watch the waves in the morning sunrise. The keyless entry is nice for coming and going and not worrying about losing a key. Also big shoutout to Ken in the office who helped me on arrival, it was nice to have someone to connect with as I was traveling with a small child and arrived just a bit early. Great experience, would do it again.

Great location
We enjoyed our stay here quite a lot. The unit was very clean upon check-in. The location can’t be beat and the place is roomy. The heater did not work and it was very chilly and never got warmer than 67 degrees inside. We tried to use the gas fireplace to warm up the place, but that did not work either. So, we made use of the many blankets that were provided. Other than that, it is a lovely place and perfect for a get away to the coast. Bring your own laundry soap if you plan on washing clothes as none was provided. They did provide plenty of paper products, shampoo/conditioner/soap, and dishwashing soap so that was very much appreciated. The keyless entry and the secured parking spot were very much appreciated. Overall, a great place to stay.

Can't beat the view and the location!
The location was awesome! Literally steps from the beach and restaurants! We spent virtually all of our time on the patio. Be sure to read the description of the stay and not just the pictures. The pictures show two rooms with queen beds but the detailed description reads one queen bed and two twin beds; just a heads up. The keyless entry is awesome also, no chance of losing those keys at the beach!

My girlfriends and I really enjoyed our stay in Avila. This property was perfect. Great location, overlooking the ocean, clean and stylish interior. Perfect for 4 friends to stay the weekend. The only thing we wish we had was an outdoor heater on there patio to enjoy the deck on the chilly evenings.

It was just okay.
Man, I wish I could give it more stars! Working with the rental group was great. They were available to help this infrequent traveler anytime I needed. The property is good, but unfortunately the market below it was renovating....so it was a bit loud at different points of the stay. My main jab at the rental was...they didn’t have the common pantry items I expected — pepper, coffee(!), plastic wrap... I didn’t realize that these items were a spoiler for me at other places until I didn’t have them. Would I stay here again? Sigh....probably not for the price. But, if you’re willing to spend the money and you’re looking for a comfortable place to stay at beachfront...then book it. You’ll be satisfied.

I do apologize about all the chaos from the Avila Market reno. We usually do have salt & pepper and a couple complimentary coffees. Over a little time some additional commodities will be left, however, these units were just updated and reno'd right before the maket. Thankfully, it is all completed now and much nicer as a result. We would for you to come see us again! I do need to mention this unit was actually priced very nicely considering it is Ocean Front!!

Great weekend getaway
This location is amazingly convenient with a amazing patio view that gives you the beaches and main strip of Avila beach. Seriously the patio is a game changer! It is directly over a very popular market/deli on the main beach front road but noise was not an issue for us at all. The space is really well laid out, nicely finished, and very comfortable. Parking is a challenge with only one reserved spot and limitations on much of the surrounding streets but we managed to find over night street parking for two additional cars. Highly recommended!

Amazing location and views…
We had an amazing family vacation with our young adult daughters in Avila! The condo A very nice size and comfortable for a family. The front deck is a huge bonus as you can and look at the ocean and hang out up there all day, watching people on the esplanade below. Only snafu was that the unit was definitely not very clean when we arrived and with heightened concerns about Covid, we ended up washing every single dish and kitchen utensil prior to using anything. We immediately let the property management company know and they apologized profusely and kindly rectified the situation. All in all, we’d definitely stay there again! 😊

Great beach trip
Location is great! The house is well appointed. Only complaint is that the divider between the two units on the balcony regularly opens (no way to secure it) so sometimes you are dining outside with strangers.

If You like DT Avila Beach- you get it
Very nice accommodations in a funky setting on the roof of a grocery store. But it was perfect as a crash pad while attending a family occasion in SLO. They property had all we needed including a great morning view of the ocean, although picking up and dropping off keys in Pismo was a bit of a traffic hassle.
