Oceanfront home with convenient beach access, Dog-Friendly with a Private Hot Tub and a spacious great room idea for gathering with family. Oceanfront Sand Dollar is located on a primary dune and has priceless ocean views in an inviting setting. The ground level has concrete parking, an outside shower, and a fish cleaning table. Gating and fencing provide enclosed play areas for dogs and kids. The first level has four bedrooms and two baths. The first bedroom is an oceanfront ensuite bedroom a private bath and TV, plus deck access to the private hot tub. The second bedroom is oceanfront with deck access, TV, and private entrance to a shared bath. There are two additional bedrooms, one with two twins and the other with a pyramid bunk (twin over double), each room with a TV and sunset views. The great room, located on the second level, features a cathedral ceiling with exposed beams, a half bath, and stunning views. Three oceanfront sliders, bringing the ocean view inside, lead to an oceanfront deck. Enjoy the well-equipped kitchen complete with a breakfast bar and oceanfront dining. The centrally-located wet bar is indispensable at happy hour. Evening conversations will hum in the comfortable sitting area furnished with an entertainment center. Beach Access: Convenient access by path over the dune. Please note: Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details around this facility will be shared in your check-in email and during the check-in process. Mar 22, 2026 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location, listing accuracy Booked and was then sent emails from rental company which led me down the rabbit hole of their reviews. Not going to lie, at that point I was scared of what we would walk into. However, this home was incredibly clean. The beds were comfortable, pillows were great. Very spacious and inviting. Five patio doors leading onto 2 separate deck areas. Beautiful views of the ocean. Outdoor shower comes in very handy.Did not use any appliances so can’t say anything regrading if they worked properly. The coffee pot was broken but reported and ideally will be replaced. There was an issue with the heating and cooling not working properly to which we were told we don’t know how to operate the system, after they came out to check so they did respond to issues. Hard to operate it incorrectly when you turn the system off and it keeps kicking itself on for hours.
