Renovated traditional house in the heart of the picturesque village of Aydius, perched on a sunny slope in the Aspe Valley. Access via steps or a ramp (strollers and rolling suitcases) leads to a private 24 m² terrace overlooking the street and facing the mountains (Pic de Bergon). Hiking trail to Lake Montagnon, a heart-shaped gem of the Pyrenees, waiting to be discovered! Ground floor: - Equipped kitchen with wood-burning stove (microwave and oven, 4 gas hobs, 180-liter refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher). - Large living room, lounge area (TV, fiber optic Wi-Fi) opening onto a terrace - Shower room (washing machine, shower, sink, toilet) 1st level: - 3 bedrooms (2 double beds, 1 double bed) - Bathroom (bathtub and shower, toilet) 2nd level (attic): - Mezzanine (miller's ladder) with 1 single bed The beds are made ready for your arrival and Paulette welcomes you with her delicious garbure (garbure) soup. Gas heating (€8/day) is available at an additional cost. Firewood (€15/week) is available. Garden furniture. Private barbecue. Parking in the village is 50m away. Trout fishing in the Gabarret, a stream below the village, in the Cazaubon district. Goat cheese is sold by farm producers. Gîte adjoining the owners' home. Patronal festivals 1st weekend of August.
