"If a little piece of French countryside is what you are looking for then this is place is for you. We enjoyed our stay though did not utilize the property to its full potential. We used this as a base to visit the caves and tour the surrounding area. Unfortunately we did not have the time to just relax here. Next time. Jacqueline was awesome. We would recommend."

"Our extended family loved the house, the pool & the location. When we arrived a few minor queries were quickly and cheerfully dealt with. The only major problem was FINDING the house : the address is insufficient for the sat nav and a clearer description of its exact location would help. Otherwise excellent."

"Two families of four and a dog had a fantastic holiday staying at this lovely farmhouse. The pool area was great and used all the time. The house was very spacious with plenty of room. A lovely quiet location within easy driving reach of many interesting attractions. I would recommend this house to others. The owner was very easy to deal with. My only tip for improvement would be updating the bathrooms or adding another."

"Belle maison pour séjourner au calme! Les chambres à l’étage communiquent et ne sont pas fermées donc il s’agit plutôt d’un dortoir. La climatisation est seulement à l’étage mais le rez de chaussée reste frais. Idéal pour se balader dans les environs."

"Property absolutely beautiful. We stayed for a month with friends and family. Everything you need for a self catering stay. Well thought out in everyway. Village in walking distance with a bakery and butchers. Market with local produce. Everybody so friendly in the local village. We tried talking some french which went down well! Supermarket 15 miles away with good selection. Lots to see and do around about. Will remember or French Getaway with fond memories."

"The house and pool are lovely. Very well appointed with everything you could need. Location terrific, right in the middle of town, but really quiet and peaceful with an amazing view. The outside kitchen and pool toys are a great addition. Don’t worry about the church bells they are only rung during normal hours so do not interfere with sleep. Phillipe could not have been more helpful and the welcome box was an unexpected treat. Will stay again soon - a great home from home. Thanks for...

The pool was excellent, there were plenty of chairs and sun loungers for everyone. The pool table/games room was a brilliant addition. We went on the VELO rail in the nearby Corgnac-sur-l'Isle which was great fun."

"Handsomely modernized country house on a beautiful rural site overlooking the Vezere valley. Quiet, comfortable, fully equipped home with a sun-heated swimming pool. We benefitted from ease of access to the major prehistoric cave art sites, medieval towns and chateaux, ending our days relaxing in and by the pool and enjoying classic Perigordine cuisine in nearby restaurants. Our host, Sandrine, was attentive and helpful. Overall and excellent experience."

Perfect pool and terrace for relaxing in the sun … and the surrounding area provides so much to see and do from markets to caves to castles to canoeing! Humphrey the spaniel loved his early morning walks right from our doorstep - with spectacular views of this glorious part of the Perigord! A wonderful stay, so thanks to Mathilde."
