Smoke alarm when off forever and we couldn’t sleep from a long drive. The pool didn’t have no clean towels. We asked for extra blankets and they never came with any. So we just cutting or break shorter.

I have stayed here several times when I have to come to Bakersfield. The staff is always very welcoming. The property itself is clean, quiet and well maintained. I have stayed both in a suite and regular guest room, both were exactly as I expected. Great place to stay. I will be back.

Nice hotel, easy access and friendly staff. But what we really needed was to do some laundry, which Expedia indicated was onsite. It was not. Fortunately, the front desk arranged our visit to the hotel next door so we could use their machines. So 5 stars for Doubletree Bakersfield. Expedia… I’m rethinking my loyalty. You’re getting lazy with your facts.

The hotel is a bit older but rooms were clean and new looking. The building itself is a bit dated but nothing that made me not want to stay. It’s in an area with lots of hotels and easy freeway access. Fridge in room. Bed was a bit soft but nice linens and I think 6 pillows on the long bed. Good water pressure in showers. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Mini mart in lobby you can grab a snack for a premium charge but. I’ve to have that. Easy parking. Several nice staff including many who held doors for me as I was wheeling luggage.

This hotel looks newly renovated on the inside even though its exterior looks old. The rooms were nice and had modern amenities. The lobby is spacious too.

This is standard for all hotels and is released upon checkout. Some banks take 3-5 days to release the hold.

Everything was great except in my room, I think the hotel should take more pride in how things look in the room. My shower curtain looked terrible, the top is torn up, one of the hooks is broken. Also the hem has come out of one of the curtains in my room and it's dirty because it's dragging on the floor, it's really tacky looking. My room number was #424

The staff were great! Knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. It was clean and comfy. I only wish we could have had a screen door on the slider to enjoy some fresh air. The food at the cafe was really good!

My uhaul got vandalized parked right in front of the lobby after i was told they had security on site and my uhaul would be safe, a hole was drilled in my gas tank
