Ballyhoura Country Vacation Rentals

Mark was very kind to help us with minor issues we had getting into the property. It is VERY well appointed and the breakfast was fantastic! What was particularly nice was the spacious 'dining room' with an amazing rooftop patio. It was raining when we were there so didn't really get to go out on the patio, but we decided to stay in and enjoyed the dining room/ lounge. I would stay here again and recommend. Our apartment was on the third floor, so mind the stairs but we are seniors and...

Nice room. Good location. Fun recreation center. Great staff.

Property met my requirements in every way and exceeded my expectations

The staff went above and beyond in berthing they did. So friendly and inviting, they even set me up with a Jr suite at the last minute for one extra day! Top notch service. You do not get this kind of service in the states

Wow! Moorepark is centrally located to pretty much anything you want to see on a nice day trip. We visited the Cliffs of Moher and Doolin cave in one trip. We had planned to stay one night but because it was so easy to travel back and forth to different places, we decided to stay five nights and use Moorepark as our home base. Tricia, the property mgr was extremely informative about the area and where to shop on our down time. She is very kind and upbeat. Overall, we will be back and we...

family resort lots of children…. animals in the petting area are not attended to, at a pet level. It made me sad! the property grounds are very pretty. location is a destination but we are out of towners and know nothing about the area. food was ok, again very geared to family stays! We were on our 34th anniversary trip, had slightly different agenda, quite, adult time.

We absolutely loved the Bedford. It was so clean and comfortable with top notch amenities. The breakfast at the Cafe downstairs was by far the best we’ve had while in Ireland. The staff is tremendous and went out of their way to check us in early so we could rest after being up for over 24 hours what with the time difference and all. A big shout out to Eva who went above and beyond to make our stay one we will not forget. Stay at The Bedford you will be so glad that you did!

We arrived at Kilmurry Lodge after a long drive from Dublin in the rain that was much longer than expected. Check in was seamless and then we went to the restaurant for an excellent meal to unwind and relax. Overall the service was excellent, rooms were clean and spacious, breakfast was varied and delicious. The rooms was a bit warmer than we wanted but the hotel had the heat of because of a cold snap the week before. Location was great. easy to get to city center, or the west coast. Lots of...

Wonderful hotel with an incredible leisure ctr with pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and gym; daily breakfast was fantastic and substantial. Mallow is a great, relaxing small town, but large enough to have plenty of groceries, shopping, a movie theater, restaurants and bars. Also has a neat series of walking trails around the city- all paved and flat. Train station is a 10-15 minute walk to hotel on paved sidewalks. Intercity bus stop is about 5 mins from hotel. Although i really liked Cork...

No. 1 Pery Square was my favourite hotel during my stay in Ireland. The place is very classy and chic, without feeling snobish at all. It is located near a nice park in central Limerick, and there is a small parking structure nearby where you can leave your vehicle. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and gave me advice on where to dine, and even a discount for a nearby restaurant. The hotel is lovely and so beautifully decorated. The atmosphere is cosy and quiet, ideal for a...

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Absolute Hotel. We were warmly welcomed and staff provided all the information we needed about Limerick. The room was luxurious and provided us with needed rest and relaxation after a couple of busy days touring. We walked to King John’s Castle and to dinner. Next time we plan to try the restaurant in the hotel. Thanks for your hospitality!

Clean, cozy, great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Loved its proximity to UL.

Now, THIS is a hotel. Unlike my last stay (at the Moxie in downtown NYC) the Strand does not skimp on the amenities. The room was spacious and fully equipped, the bed comfortable, the service excellent. The location across the river is both extremely close to the heart of Limerick while not being stuck in the middle of it. I would not recommend eating at The River (the in-hotel restaurant) though. My meals were mediocre at best. But that's my only quibble.

Staff were very friendly and attentive. Rating a 4 star because there is no elevator, nor a hair dryer in our room. They did offer to take all of our things upstairs for us before we finished checking in. Room was very clean and comfortable, precisely what we were seeking in our price range.
