“The owner/manager was very responsive and worked to make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The living areas are roomy and the views of the water are spectacular. Very peaceful and calming atmosphere and close to Acadia National Park for hiking, biking, and exploring. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.”

“Super new and clean. Loved the open floor plan for visiting after our hikes in Acadia. Beds were very comfortable. House did not lack in any necessities. It was about a 35 minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Not exactly easy to run back to the house if you wanted a mid day break, but we knew the location when we booked and enjoyed the quietness of neighborhood. The host was extremely responsive. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“This place is the perfect location from which to explore MDI! We spent 4 fabulous nights here and enjoyed every minute. The beds were comfortable, the cottage was clean and well appointed, and the kitchen was great! The deck view of the harbor area was superb and we enjoyed watching the lobster boats and recreational boats going by. Communication was excellent and we were very pleased with the whole experience. We highly recommend it as a vacation spot away from the crowds!”

“The home was nice and cozy. It met all our needs, had a well stocked kitchen, linens and laundry. The rooms and bedding were setup nice and clean. Each room has a portable AC so we had to turn that on once we arrived to let the place cool down and air circulate. The location was about 25 minutes drive from Bar Harbor and usually 20-25 minutes away from our daily activities, but it worked out for us just fine.”
