"We absolutely loved the chateau- it was large with a lovely garden, pool and lots of nice bedrooms. The chateau was very private and close to a lovely little village and waterfall. The hosts were very quick and easy to contact. Would recommend to any large family or friend group"

"We wanted accommodation that had easy access to the mountains but also had a swimming pool. A view of the mountains was essential. This gite ticked all the boxes and we had a fabulous holiday. I agree with all the other reviews; the views, our hosts, the facilities and the cleanliness were all spot on. A week wasn't enough to visit all the places we want to in this stunning region so hopefully we'll return and spend longer in Gites de Bigorre."

"Well built and located property. @40km from heart of Pyrénées on a hill top that gives you breathtaking views from the south facing property with decent sized pool. Lovely hosts explained well on how to operate the house. It’s ideal if you don’t mind driving a bit into the hot spots of lac d’ooh; Loudenvielle, Cagire loop, Cirque de Gavarnie, Louchon, Cauteret. ...et al ....most of them are about 60-90 min drive and at least the second half of the drive is beautiful through the mountains. "Stayed 4 nights at Saint Sever des Pyrenees and had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Kirsten, Anthony and Scoobie the dog are great hosts - very welcoming, easy going and knowledgeable about the local area and beyond. Located on the edge of a small attractive village surrounded by a beautiful landscape, views to the Pyrenees from your bedroom window, it really is a special spot. There is also a train station a short drive away for exploring the stunning city of Toulouse. Really is a relaxing...
