“It was easy to check in and the room was very clean”

“The front desk staff were super friendly and very helpful. The room was actually a really nice layout. Everything was clean. It is definitely an older property though, the air conditioning units were kind of falling apart. But they worked which is nice. The only two things I would criticize was that the hot water was hit and miss in the shower, and the property is just in a bad location with lots of sketchy people running around in the parking lot. That's not their fault, but if you're looking……

“Great place to stay! The only downside was the hair dryer in my room didn’t work but other than that I really recommend.”

“I booked a room with two queens. When I got my keys, the room had not been cleaned from the previous guests. The on-site manager did get me a replacement with a king quickly. That bed, however, must have been there since the place opened. Very uncomfortable. The whole place could use some upkeep. Very nice full breakfast each day.”

“The stay was pretty decent, the room smelled a little odd. Pool was freezing cold, which is probably nice during a 110 degree Arizona summer, but not great when it’s 75-80 degrees. Hot tub was good. The hotel has a grill. The staff are helpful and friendly. There was a motorcycle club that stayed there a night when we were there. They were friendly, but my 6 year old was asking what certain inappropriate words mean after we got back inside from using the grill lol.”

“I will not stay here again. We figured we would try this place. Check in was quick. They said they installed new door locks and he showed me on a display model. Hold the card up to the lock and your in. Seems easy enough. He'll no. After 30 tries, I went and got the owner. It works for him first try. I never could get in the whole night in under 20 attempts. Now to the room. You can tell they just remodeled. Definitely low end products and contractors. Very bad job. Poor work and cheap……

“A gem in the desert. Amazingly large room with separate sleeping and living areas furnished in mid-century modern style. Good local restaurants and wine tastings within a short easy drive. Loved the really cute, not so mini, fridge that allowed us to refreeze all our ice packs. Friendly, helpful staff. Definitely would stay again! ”

“Oriental express was really good as well as the breakfast (restaurant and hotel are connected so the food is quality from both), cute stay in a charming desert city. Love the courtyards and foliage.”
