Authentic Périgourdine house comfort & calm

Very pleasant Périgord house, authentic architecture, relaxing, bright, comfortable (fully equipped kitchen, 107 cm plasma screen, leather armchairs, barbecue, espresso machine, living room speaker) large bay windows on the terrace with a large table for outdoor dining and sunbathing.
The advantages of the house: pool access “drop of water” shared with another gite (small committee, bucolic atmosphere, calm and family, protected) on the site: natural spring, view of Château des Milandes, beaches & sunny terraces & clear exposure due south for sunbathing. Access also to an enclosed garden with games for children.

House Located in Saint Vincent de Cosse 12 km from Sarlat la Caneda, a small village in the center of the valley of the castles. Less than 6 km from the house; 5 exceptional castles: Beynac, Castelnaud, Marqueyssac, Les Milandes, La Roque Gageac.
Advantages of the location: Ultra-fast access to the most beautiful historical sites, sports activities on site (swimming, canoeing, mountain biking, hiking and many others ...), departure point for hot air balloon flights to admire the castles. Gourmet restaurants and traditional shops ultra close by.
The situation: a small village in the black, calm and green Sarlat-Périgord community located 800 m from the Dordogne river opposite the Château des Milandes and adjoining the village of Beynac with its famous castle. Stroll through the village, Roman road, river and exceptional heritage. Ideal location to admire a maximum of sites.

Fantastic Stay

We had a fantastic time. Thibault was very kind, helpful and responsive. The house is amazing, we also enjoyed the terrace and pool very much. The place is perfectly located to visit all the nice spots in the Dordogne. We can definitely recommend going there.

Wonderful charming house

We loved our little home away from home in the south of France, near the Dordogne . Great host who was always available. Comfortable beds and a nice little kitchen . Beautiful views out every window

I stayed at this property with my 18 year old son for 8 nights. It's was absolutely wonderful! The house is cozy and comfortable, and we enjoyed all of the different areas to sit outside. Having a pool on the roperty was an added bonus. I would highly recommend!

Tous les centres d'intérêts étaient proches !!Lemplacement etait parfait ce qui nous a permis de voir ou revoir tous les lieux magnifiques que nous avions prévu de visiter ainsi que quelques petits restaurants pleins de charme ou nous avons été très bien accueillis y compris notre compagnon à 4 pattes.... ce séjour de 4 jours fût remarquable sans aucunes fausses notes !!!

Location autour de Sarlat Périgord Noir

Super localisation pour ce super logement jardin piscine..avec des hôtes très sympas qui se situe autour de Sarlat à Saint Vincent de Cosse. Proche de tous les grands châteaux, Beynac, Marqueyssac, Château de Castelnaud, Les Milandes, exceptionnel !!! les Gabarres etc… Et de plus tranquille au mois de septembre. Magnifique ce Perigord Noir, on ne s’en lasse pas !!

Idyllisches Haus in guter Lage

Ein gemütliches Haus in ruhiger Lage. Gut ausreichend für eine Familie mit allem was man benötigt. Es fehlt nichts. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im nächsten Ort. Sympathischer und entspannter Vermieter. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Magnifique séjour

Très bon logement, spacieux et très bien placé. Après un accueil chaleureux et ponctuel, nous avons découvert un logement spacieux et très bien équipé avec en plus une magnifique terrasse et une piscine très bien exposée et tranquille. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute.

Beautiful stay in lovely French village! Loved the pool every day after exploring the region.

Amazing, would definitely stay again! Really enjoyed using the outdoor grill ! One small suggestion would be to have BBQ utensils for the outdoor grill.

Magnifique propriété

Françoise et Thibault ont été adorables. La maison est une vieille demeure sur plusieurs niveaux dotée d’un moulin du 16e (de mémoire). Jardin accessible pour les enfants avec vue depuis la maison pour les surveiller si besoin. Piscine en hauteur avec vue sur la région. Le moulin est idéalement placé pour rayonner sur toute la région à quelques kms de Beynac (chateau) et St Cyprien (abbaye et marche le dimanche matin). On a adoré le lieu, la Dordogne et partager un peu de nos vies avec Thibault sur la terrasse autour d’un verre… Nous prévoyons déjà un prochain sejour

Un gîte super agréable pour les vacances

Le gîte du Moulin est situé au calme dans un cadre exceptionnel avec tout le confort pour profiter de nos vacances. Nos hôtes sont accueillant et pas avares en conseils pour découvrir la région. Je pense que pour l’année prochaine le lieu de vacances est déjà tout trouvé.

On y revient à chaque fois avec plaisir.

Nous avons découvert la Maison Dorée au hasard d'internet il y a quelques années déjà. Nous avons loué une première fois, puis une deuxième, une troisième et encore... A chaque fois, c'est avec plaisir que nous y allons. Nous y retournerons du reste en juin. Maison fort agréable, propriétaire sympathique, endroit alliant le calme du village de Saint-Vincent-de-Cosse et la proximité de Sarlat, pour ne nommer que la plus connue... Nous découvrons à chaque voyage de nouvelles facettes d'un bien beau pays aux superbes paysages où il fait bon marcher et aux bonnes tables ... C'est ça le Périgord Noir!
