"A peaceful, magical spot in a garden, surrounded by fields, a few minutes away from major roads. The hosts were very welcoming, offering us tea in the comfortable sitting room available to their guests. The breakfast spread was copious and varied. The room we were in was spotless, spacious and extremely comfortable. I appreciated the little touches like a coloring book with its color pencils or the plants and flowers in the room. "Well presented room, in a quirky building that was slightly difficult to find as the name board has fallen down at some time and not been put back up. Would consider using again, but might look for options slight closer to the centre of Montlucon. We were only staying for one night on our way south through France. Staff friendly, continental breakfast ok and parking on site."

"This is a lovely little property, ideal for a couple or a couple with a young child. The owners, who live next door, were very friendly and helpful and Carol enjoyed practicing her French on them. It's well equipped, with everything you need. The decor is perhaps a little tired but this didn't bother us as it seemed very 'French' and everything was very clean. "We have stayed at Campanile Hotels as they are conveniently situated, have ample free parking and have a restaurant. The room was clean and there was a large comfortable bed, good size bathroom and have external blinds which makes the room dark for sleeping. We were very disappointed as the restaurant was closed as it was a Sunday. The website stated it was open every day of the week including Sundays which is why we booked. Their own website should be updated! "
