"Honestly, I don’t even know where to start. It was such a wonderful and peaceful stay!! The cabin had everything anyone could possibly need to feel at home from the utensils and cookware to the snacks, bottled water and fresh towels. I have traveled and stayed at several places and I have to tell you this is one of my favorites! It is definitely a gem!! Thank you so much for welcoming me and for being such gracious hosts! I would also like to give a special thank you to Paige, 😊who was a pleasure to meet when she came to drop off extra supplies and checked to see if I needed more wood, etc. She was very sweet. I definitely will be returning. Thank you again for such an awesome stay!!🤗"

"This was a last minute stop and I wish we could have stayed longer. Check in was fast and easy. The room was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. Our room was facing the highway and I was worried that the noise would be an issue but I slept like a rock. The breakfast was good."

"This is an old inn built in the late 1700’s which is lovingly maintained. We were unable to be there when Clems kitchen is open but have heard it is very good."

"The property was well maintained and the staff was helpful. Not sure why they describe the Hermitage Inn “and Taphouse”. The bar and restaurant is a totally separate building and not part of the hotel. A little deceiving. But the room was very clean and well appointed. The staff at both the restaurant and and the hotel were very friendly and helpful"

"For the price, this hotel fit the bill! Simple but clean and comfy. (Bed was very firm….maybe a topper could be added) Our check in guy was extremely pleasant, friendly & helpful."

"Absolutely beautiful remote spot. Bed was so comfortable, bathroom and shower were top notch, and the kitchen had all the basics we needed from kitchen scissors to pot holders. Washer and dryer worked great. Bring everything you need, and you could literally stay for days and enjoy the quiet and solace. We did a lot of exploring during the day, and returned in the evenings. Can’t say enough nice things about the location and accommodations- just wonderful!"
