When you want quality over quantity, look no further. This hotel is better than those I've visited in Manila and most I've been at in the US. Make sure to go enjoy dinner.

My stay at Summit Hotel Tacloban City was a mixed bag. On the cleanliness side, I'd rate it 3 stars — the hotel needs to step up its housekeeping standards overall, as several areas could have been noticeably cleaner during my visit. That said, the operations team more than made up for it, and I'm giving that side a full 5 stars. A special shoutout to Ely Laurent Almeria, who provided excellent service throughout my stay. He was attentive, accommodating, and went out of his way to make sure all my needs were met — including honoring my request for a very early check-in at 8AM on my arrival date, which I really appreciated. Another highlight was the local food offered during my stay — a nice touch that added a lot of value to the overall experience. Overall, if the housekeeping and cleanliness standards are improved, this hotel has real potential given how strong the staff and service side already is.

Very nice and comfortable room, the pool was very nice and the restaurants were fabulous. Friendly and accommodating staff made the stay a memorable one.
