"What a beautiful area. We had a great stay here. Very comfortable bed, clean room, and snacks available. As soon as I made the reservation, I received a message from the hotel about checking in after hours. Do yourself a favor...don't wait until you're sitting in the parking lot at 9:00 pm, trying to get in, to translate the message. It all worked out, though, and we had a wonderful time. "Alpenblick is directly outside the bus stop for the bus to the train & bus station and only about a 10min ride. It does not view lake Constance. We stayed to help reduce costs while attending a family wedding so we were not too concerned about paying for higher quality hotel as our exposure to the hotel was simply to sleep and have breakfast and to the end it was perfect for us. Rooms suitable and basic. Not airconditioned so it was warm. Breakfast was more than acceptable as had all the normal basics, cold meats/cheeses, Tinned fruit cocktail with some slices of melon, cereal with one choice of seeds and walnuts, bread/roll choices and also eggs and various drink choices. The only thing we did not like was the coffee taste. Staff were always helpful and friendly. All was tidy and clean just a little bit worn in areas. Thank you to all the Team for making our stay comfortable."

En suite door was wierd - it was a sliding door which didn't really stay shut, and you could see through it (pattern of repeating translucent see through glass), which meant there was no privacy in the bathroom when sharing the room."
