We stayed at Le Jadis in one of their beach villas, and for the price they charge, the experience was honestly disappointing. We found several bugs — on the couch and even in the bathroom — and there were a lot of mosquitos, with my wife getting the majority of the bites. For a supposedly five-star luxury villa, that’s really not acceptable.
Parking was also a hassle. Despite staying in one of their premium villas, I was asked to park outside the resort because there wasn’t enough parking available. For a hotel in this price range, that’s simply poor planning and not the kind of experience you expect.
When we requested a late checkout, the hotel only offered an extra hour, even though they confirmed they weren’t fully booked. This was especially disappointing after explaining that my wife is pregnant — the lack of empathy and flexibility really stood out.
Some of the staff members were great, particularly the waiters, who were polite and attentive. However, the concierge service could be improved — when I asked a few basic questions, they didn’t seem to know the answers and had to check with the manager.
To make matters worse, we were accused of taking extra snacks from the minibar, which we did not. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional, especially given that we had already paid for a high-end villa experience.
The food was good but limited, which again doesn’t justify the premium price tag. Overall, Le Jadis looks luxurious on the surface, but the actual experience —
