The most incredible visit
I booked this cottage for my boyfriend’s birthday in October and he said this was his favorite trip. Prior to booking I wasn’t sure where exactly in Maine we wanted to stay/visit as we always just wanted to go. Blue Hill is a must! The town was so charming and had the most incredible sandwich shop, accompanied by the best wine shop we’ve ever found that makes their own bread with the nicest staff! Aside from the town, Fabiola was the most incredible host even though we were a bit calamitous. She checked in on us and let us have our privacy for being just next door in her guest house. I would go again in a heart beat if she would have us! Her cottage is so charming and clean. I can’t say enough how this trip exceeded everything I expected. It was like being immersed into a movie!

Everything we needed!
We had an incredible stay at Fabiola's cottage! Fabiola was incredibly communicative, and she greeted us when we arrived. She offered us a tour of the property, and she even put together the cutest welcome basket for us -- with a dog for our pup! The apartment was spotless, warm, and cozy. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings, and Fabiola had made sure that we had fire wood and lighters available. There is also a huge fenced in yard that was perfect for our dog. He loved being able to run free! We stayed in the apartment and drove to Acadia every day for hikes, and it worked out wonderfully. The kitchen had everything we needed to make small dinners for ourselves at home and rest before the next day's adventure. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay with your pet as a home base for exploring the national park, look no further!

Absolutely Incredible
Fabiola is an awesome hostess!❤️. She thought of everything to make our stay comfortable a basket full of goodies and keepsakes to a toy for our dog. ( which is now his favorite toy) Awesome play dates with her pup,Otto. But seperate yards in case they don’t get along. She was available but respected our privacy. The accommodations were very private. The private beach was awesome. The bed was very comfortable, a cute kitchen with all the amenities needed. Can’t say enough about our stay a Bluehill Cottage.5+stars all around.

Incredible stay
I have never felt more taken care of during our stay at Fabiola's beautiful cottage! My husband and I spent a weekend getaway here with our dogs, and it was nothing short of perfect. The cottage is impeccably decorated, the property is just plain special, especially if you're a dog owner, and Fabiola is a wonderful, attentive, and genuine host. My only regret is not staying a few more days--but we'll be back. :)

Quaint cozy cottage
A quaint cottage with eclectic furnishings combine to create a cozy and comfortable suite for two. The rooms are supplied with thoughtful conveniences for use throughout your stay. The caring host made us feel very welcome and is available if needs arise. A welcome basket of tasty goodies and handy items was a pleasant surprise. Our stay was in chilly off-season but we took the short walk to the beach anyway. It looked appealing with easy water access which is unusual for the area.

Charming Blue Hill Cottage
Staying at Fabiola’s guest cottage, felt as welcoming as staying with a long lost cousin. We had a splendid, relaxing time. Fabiola had many thoughtful touches, our favorite of which was the dog toy she chose, especially for our dog. It’s his new favorite! Location is great with easy access to blue hill and close to Ellsworth. there was no noticeable road noise. We highly recommend this place to others.

Warm and inviting. Fabiola was attentive with out being intrusive. She thought of everything including things for my dog. Besides the charming cottage, I had my own covered deck and fenced yard for the dog. The private beach on the bay is beautiful.

Blue Hill Cottage was everything we were hoping for and more. Fabiola was a wonderful host, who was gracious with her time and recommendations. She made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and was available anytime if needed. Upon arrival, Fabiola had a basket of goodies waiting for us,, which even included a little gift for our pup! The home was well stocked with anything you could need.. There is plenty of outdoor space, including access to a private beach just a short walk from the house. When we return to the area, we hope to stay at Blue Hill Cottage again!

Beautiful Space!
We stayed at the cottage for a few nights while visiting Acadia National Park. The location was perfect for us, only about 45 minutes from the park and away from the congestion of Bar Harbor. The cottage was quaint, charming, and comfortable, with stylish details and fun amenities like the gorgeous outdoor living room! Fabiola herself was communicative and helpful, and left thoughtful touches that made us feel welcome. We would love to return!

A magical experience!
I cannot say enough positive things about Fabiola’s Blue Hills cottage. First, Fabiola is the absolute best host I have ever had. Everything was absolutely perfect - she had everything so clearly organized and the cottage was beautiful. Check in was so easy and she had the cutest check in basket waiting for us. I was there with boyfriend and our dogs, and she even had toys ready and waiting for them. She was available for any questions and was just the kindest and most welcoming host. Second, the cottage itself was fantastic - beautifully decorated, super comfortable bed, clean as can be, and beyond cozy. There is a gorgeous yard to sit in and a great deck where you can relax and sit outside. I cannot say enough positive things about it. The location was incredible and the private beach was such a treat. I will absolutely come back here and wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you for an amazing vacation, Fabiola!!!

Wonderful Place to Stay
My husband and I enjoyed 3 nights at the cozy, comfortable cottage. Fabiola greets you at check in and shows you everything you need to know about the property. It's nicely furnished and has a very comfortable bed. An easy place to relax. There's a lovely private beach a short walk through the trees. Fabiola is a very generous and thoughtful host. It was a pleasure to meet her and enjoy her property. I would definitely recommend staying at the cottage.

Lovely cottage in the perfect area
My husband and I had the best experience on our trip to Maine. Fabiola and her cottage was a big part of making our trip so wonderful. She is an amazing host and the cottage was lovely and very accommodating. We immediately felt at home. The private beach was one of our favorite amenities. This cottage is in a great area which allows for many adventures all within a one hour drive. We will definitely be back again someday. Wonderful Wedding Weekend
The Blue Hill Cottage was our first experience in Blue Hill, ME as we visited for a family wedding. The location was perfect for our weekend of wedding events. Fabiola leaves no stone unturned, as everything is labeled in the cottage, amenities abound, there's a binder of information, and she provides you with a warm welcome and tour. Having a private beach was amazing, and the place is so peaceful - it was just what we needed after the events of the weekend. An added bonus is that you're close enough to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park to visit, but far enough away to relax at a calmer pace in Blue Hill. Thank you for providing us with a lovely first impression of Blue Hill, ME!

Blue Hill Cottage Extended Stay
We rented Blue Hill Cottage for a 5 week stay and we could not have been happier! The cottage, property and location is both beautiful and functional with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing - it afforded us a true home-away-from-home experience. Fabiola is an excellent host, both very accessible but also “invisible” and she went over and above helping us with some particular needs. Highly recommend!

Cute Location & Fun Place
My boyfriend and I stayed at Fabiola's property for a long weekend in October and had the best time. The fall leaves were beautiful and Fabiola gave us all the tips on our welcome tour. The house is so cute and has a very fun style inside with plenty of things to make for a fun trip. Really comfortable bed and everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. We didn't have the best weather at first, so we didn't use the fire pit but the stars are incredible if you catch clear skies. The 1-hour drive to Acadia isn't bad either especially since the park is rather small. The place is just a small trek away from a beautiful beach, there's a creepy abandoned house you'll pass but once you get down to the beach it's worth it. Overall perfect trip for a couple or small group! Highly recommend Fabiola's location on Blue Hill.

Cosy Spot in Coastal Maine
This little cottage is so sweet and cosy. Every little detail has been thought out, and the owner was responsive and welcoming. The bed/sleeping area particularly was so cosy, I could have just laid in bed and watched tv or read one of the many great books available all day long! Would definitely stay here again on a trip to the area.

Perfect Getaway
We had the best stay at Fabiola’s guest cottage. The bed was extremely comfortable, the home was designed well and the town of Blue Hill was very cute and had some great food options! It was also an easy drive to Acadia. Fabiola was welcoming and it’s very clear that she cares about the comfort of her guests. She left the cutest basket for us upon arrival, even with some surprises for our pup! The backyard and the private beach were perfect for us to get our dog to exercise and we used the fire pit one night to make s’mores. We will definitely be back!!
